Broadcaster Jang Young-ran has struggled with the removal of her eyeliner tattoo.
On the 5th, a video titled "Jang Young-ran's true last choice (plastic surgery)" was uploaded to her YouTube channel "A-Class Jang Young-ran."
In the video, Jang appeared with a sigh and stated, "I will get advice just once for the last time in my life. This is my final plastic surgery consultation." When the production team expressed surprise, saying, "Another eye?", Jang, who has had eye surgery four times, explained, "If I continue to have eye surgery, my eyes will blend into my eyebrows. It's because of the eyeliner tattoo."
Showing her tattoo that filled up to her mucous membrane while lifting her eyelid, Jang lamented, "These days, a slightly innocent look is pretty, but since I went too dark, when people ask on social media, 'Do I look pretty without makeup today?', they comment, 'Sister, don't lie,' 'You have eyeliner.' That's not true, everyone, it's a tattoo. Since it's too dark, it doesn't even look like I'm without makeup, and it looks too artificial."
At that time, I had a complex about my eyes, so I desperately over-applied eyeliner. This becomes a shortcut to looking like an older woman. People always call me 'auntie.' I just want to live naturally at least once. I want to have a transparent face like Lee Young-ae," she conveyed. Thus, Jang sought out a tattoo removal specialist and promised, "Really. Please believe me. There will be no more."
Entering the consultation room, Jang began her chat with the plastic surgeon. When asked whether she got the tattoo to look good for her husband, Hanchang, she responded, "That's right. I didn't want to show my bare face to my husband, so I hid it, but I realized that living like that was unbearable, which led me to start getting eyeliner tattoos, and it was very convenient," showcasing her actual eyes with all makeup removed.
