Actor Park Jeong-su, who sparked controversy for subtly targeting Lee Sang-min while mourning the late Kim Sae-ron, will appear on 'Divorcees' Man'.
Park Jeong-su said in a video titled 'Park Jeong-su & Noh Joo-hyun Part 1: Remembering Kim Sae-ron, who left us at 24,' uploaded on Noh Joo-hyun's YouTube channel on the 1st, "The motivation came from Kim Sae-ron. She drank and drove. But she's pretty, so don't our people tend to be a bit unforgiving? We really need to be careful."
Regarding the late individual's disclosure of financial struggles after the drunk driving accident, he noted, "In entertainment, when a celebrity says they repaid 7 to 8 billion won in a few years. People think celebrities can pay back their debts quickly, but that's not true. World stars can earn like that, but some people get paid 2 to 3 million won per 60-minute show."
However, some interpreted that Park Jeong-su targeted celebrities who cosplay as debtors like Lee Sang-min by appearing on a variety show. In fact, Lee Sang-min has long been running as the 'gungsang-min' character, and last April, he performed an act of tearing up debt certificates amounting to approximately 6.9 billion won on the SBS variety show 'My Little Old Boy.'
Meanwhile, Park Jeong-su inadvertently came face-to-face with Lee Sang-min. He will appear alongside Jeong Hye-seon, Song Seon-mi, and Lee Tae-ran on the SBS show 'Take Off Your Shoes, Divorcees' Man,' airing on the 4th. Although it wasn't a direct attack on Lee Sang-min, the timing of the YouTube video release and the broadcast date of 'Divorcees' Man' coincidentally aligns to create interest.
However, it seems that Park Jeong-su focused more on discussing his love story with director Jeong Eul-young rather than talking about debt on 'Divorcees' Man.' In the trailer released on the 4th, he expressed affection by saying, "Because we fought and love blossomed, we live with camaraderie," referring to Jeong Eul-young, with whom he has maintained a de facto relationship for 24 years, adding, "He is a wonderful man who makes me happy."
