Actor Lee Min-young shared the reason for participating in "grants."
On the morning of the 4th, the online press conference for the SBS Plus and E Channel co-produced entertainment show "grants" was broadcast live on the SBS Plus YouTube channel. The press conference was attended by Shin Dong-yup, Hwang Jung-eum, Jang Seo-hee, Yae Ji-won, Myung Se-bin, and Lee Soo-kyung.
Meanwhile, a teaser video of Lee Min-young, who could not attend the press conference, was released, drawing attention. He said, "I am an actor Lee Min-young, who cannot gauge my solo period. My identity is the strong capital letter I."
He explained about the reason for participating in "grants," saying, "It was a program that I found really fun to watch a few times, and the production team contacted me about it. So I clearly conveyed my message, saying, 'I know that program. But I can't do it.' However, since they reached out to me, I thought I would meet them at least once. After meeting, many people came, and they embraced me in a very family-like atmosphere, saying, 'Let's go to your home just once.' After that, cameras started to be placed all over my home within a few days."
He noted, "Seeing another side of myself, I hope there are many viewers who have seen me for quite a while, and I hope they can enjoy and empathize with me."
He added, "This is almost my first time participating in an observational entertainment show since my debut, and I hope viewers enjoy it very much. I wish they can empathize with my somewhat clumsy side and also love me a lot."
