"Solo Larasseo," which captures the daily lives of various singles, has returned after a new Director General.
On the morning of the 4th, the online press conference for the entertainment program "Solo Larasseo," co-produced by SBS Plus and E-channel, was streamed live on the SBS Plus YouTube channel. The press conference was attended by Shin Dong-yeop, Hwang Jung-eum, Jang Seo-hee, Yeo Ji-won, Myung Se-bin, and Lee Soo-kyung.
"Solo Larasseo" is an observational reality entertainment program that captures the honest daily lives of attractive singles who feel lonely as singles but are also happy.
On that day, MC Shin Dong-yeop said, "In fact, we received more love than we expected from the first season, so we were able to film happily and enjoyably, but I did not expect to meet you so quickly. 'Solo Larasseo' is an observational reality entertainment program where Korea's representative single sisters show their honest daily lives, and it will premiere in October 2024. We had fun filming, but I did not expect the viewers to find it so enjoyable."
"Solo Larasseo" features Myung Se-bin, Yoon Se-ah, and Oh Jeong-yeon, who brought laughter and tears to viewers last year as "single sisters," along with newcomers Jang Seo-hee, Yeo Ji-won, Lee Min-young, Park Eun-hye, and Lee Soo-kyung. Lee Min-young, who could not attend the press conference, explained her participation through a teaser video, saying, "I had fun watching the program a few times, and then the producers of 'Solo Larasseo' contacted me, so I clearly conveyed that 'I know that program, but I can't do it' but since they reached out to me, I thought I should at least meet once. So, I ended up meeting them, and it felt like a family atmosphere with many people surrounding me, saying, 'Let's just go to your home once.' After a few days, cameras ended up being installed throughout my house."
She continued, "As I see another side of myself, I hope that viewers who have been watching me for a long time can enjoy and relate as well. I am gradually enjoying filming now," and added, "This is the first time I have participated in an observational entertainment program after my debut, and I hope the viewers enjoy it as well. I hope they can relate even to my somewhat clumsy moments and show me a lot of love."
In particular, this time, MC Hwang Jung-eum is expected to reveal her daily life as a "single mother" living with her two sons after her divorce. Shin Dong-yeop confidently stated, "In this second season, it will not just end with Hwang Jung-eum working with me as an MC, but she is also planning to share her solo life. We have already filmed it, but her two sons are like artworks. Spending day by day with them will surely make anyone fall for them."
Regarding the surrounding reactions, Hwang Jung-eum said, "Everyone seems to be watching 'Solo Larasseo' more than we expected. So everyone's looking forward to it," adding, "The kids are asking, 'When is the camera man coming?' showing a lot of interest, and when the preview comes on TV, they gather and watch it very attentively. I think it's a gift for our family to have our beautiful moments captured on camera." She also revealed her YouTube plans, stating that her eldest son wants to become a YouTuber, and they are thinking about doing it together.
Myung Se-bin, who is returning from the previous season, stated, "I received a lot of greetings after the broadcast. People said they enjoyed the unexpected aspects of me. They comfortably reach out to me via DM, saying, 'Your cooking skills are the problem' or 'You should do it like this.' I appreciate that they think of me comfortably."
Jang Seo-hee shared her feelings about joining, saying, "Comedian Kim Sook has previously done entertainment with me, and she always said to me, 'You should do more entertainment.' When I expressed my worries, she just told me to relax. Viewers have only seen me as a character so far. I thought it would be nice to show a different side, so I felt encouraged this time. I watched the first season and cried along. I wondered why everyone was crying. I cried and empathized while watching," expressing her affection for the program.
Yeo Ji-won expressed, "I was very glad and have missed you. You're so honest? But you're so comfortable. You're showing your home, doing chores, and appearing without makeup as if we were long-time acquaintances," adding, "I feel like I've let my guard down a lot. I might regret it after seeing, and I feel concerned since I just showed my everyday life."
Lee Soo-kyung, who revealed her 'drinker' side through a teaser, also confessed, "I'm a little worried because I'm too honest. My mother is worried about me." Shin Dong-yeop teased, stating, "For the first time on TV, a female actress will be shown throwing up," and asked if there is anything she wants to show through "Solo Larasseo." Lee Soo-kyung responded, "Rather, I prefer to learn a lot of different aspects, and I enjoy learning new things. I think something will come out soon."
Yeo Ji-won commented on her desire to show her authentic self, saying, "Since I was honest, should I tone it down? After seeing this, I feel like I just let it all go. I also feel worried, but I normally am quite shy, and I don't know why I am talking so much since I was glad to see everyone. 'How can you talk so much?' I thought, so I feel like I need to cover my mouth. It's so much about talking, which is quite interesting and admirable. While of course, it's nice to chat here, I also thought it would be great to extend that to making a film or forming a dance group since everyone loves dancing."
Myung Se-bin also noted, "After watching myself in the video, I realized how clumsy I am. The flower decorations weren't too shabby, but my other cooking skills were a bit clumsy. I wondered if that's how people find me comfortable; if they enjoy it, then it's good for me as well. I hope that in Season 2, we can laugh together, cry together, support each other, challenge ourselves, and have hopes. I am looking forward to being a 'smart girl.'"
