Yoon Do-hyun revealed the reason for the departure of former YB member Scott.
On the afternoon of the 4th, the band YB, returning with a new metal album, appeared as guests on SBS Power FM's 'Escape from Two O'Clock Cultwo Show' and shared stories.
On this day, special DJ Kwak Bum opened the conversation by saying, 'It was reported that there was a member restructuring last October.'
Earlier, in September of last year, YB announced through their official SNS that 'YB member Scott has decided to officially conclude his YB activities for personal reasons and depart for new challenges.'
In response, Yoon Do-hyun noted, 'British guitarist Scott left after 15 years to pursue a different path.'
In response, Kim Tae-kyun asked, 'Did he go to another band?' to which Yoon Do-hyun replied, 'It's not a band. He is originally a painter. He still does music, but he originally wanted to return to painting.'
Kim Tae-kyun asked, 'Who will fill the guitar parts Scott played? Will you (Yoon Do-hyun) fill them?' and Yoon Do-hyun replied, 'I can't do all of it. Heo Joon is busy by himself.' He also added that 'still, there is a different sound that comes from the four of us.'
Meanwhile, YB was formed in 1996 and is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year. Former member Scott Hallowell joined YB starting with the single 'White Whale' in 2011 but left the band last year.
