In the Channel A lifestyle-based detective drama "Detectives' Business Secrets," chef Ahn Yoo-sung, a "master chef of South Korea," delivered a touching moment by reuniting with his "first mentor," who he lost contact with over 30 years ago. Additionally, guest Han Seok-jun, a "dad fool," was shocked while watching the thriller-like true story of a mother searching for her missing son.

The episode aired on the 3rd concluded chef Ahn Yoo-sung's request to find his mentor, whom he had lost touch with 30 years ago. Chef Ahn Yoo-sung was trying to locate his mentor, chef Kim Jin-hong, who had built the foundation of his career. The "Wealthy Detective Team" learned of a fish restaurant run by chef Kim Jin-hong after their inquiries. They heard at the restaurant that chef Kim Jin-hong’s health was not good; however, fortunately, he made the trip to Gwangju to meet his student in person.

Feeling anxious about possibly not being able to meet his mentor, chef Ahn Yoo-sung was brought to tears as he embraced his mentor like a child when he made a surprise appearance. Chef Ahn Yoo-sung shared his complex feelings, stating, "I have been a bad person over the three changes of seasons. I couldn't even find you, mentor..." To which chef Kim Jin-hong responded, "I’m grateful you’ve succeeded, as a senior," comforting his junior. Despite being in his seventies, chef Kim Jin-hong has not left the kitchen, and chef Ahn Yoo-sung prepared dinner for him.

Chef Ahn Yoo-sung expressed his nerves, saying, "I'm more nervous than when I prepared a meal for the president." When chef Kim Jin-hong encouraged him with, "Just do it as you usually do," Ahn Yoo-sung replied, "That statement is even scarier," becoming increasingly stiff. After tasting the dish prepared with his student’s sincerity, chef Kim Jin-hong seriously savored the flavors and commented, "The rice is mushy," eliciting laughter as he provided a brutally honest review typical of a "true mentor." Shortly after, chef Kim Jin-hong, dropping the playful demeanor, acknowledged his student, saying, "It's delicious." Chef Ahn Yoo-sung promised, "I will take good care of you for life and visit often," concluding their heartfelt segment of "The Detective Business Seeker's Love." Meanwhile, in the reconstructed true story segment "Case Notebook - Looking for My Son," guest Han Seok-jun, known as the "brainy man of the announcing world," joined. The person requesting help stated, "My son vanished like air a month ago," and sought help from the detective agency to find him. The requester noted, "I saw him entering a commercial building with a suitcase but didn't see him coming out," and provided CCTV footage. The detective followed his son on social media but could not find even a close friend on the son’s account, which was unusual for a man in his early twenties. As the mystery deepened, the detective found the requester's son at a jjimjilbang (Korean spa). However, the son responded sharply, "Did you come to abandon me? I'm not that lady's real son."

According to the requester, they met 15 years ago during a volunteer activity at an orphanage, leading to the son's adoption. However, when the son turned twenty, the husband fell ill. Since then, the son began to change, indulging in entertainment, and even took on gambling debts, stating, "When (my father) dies, I’ll inherit his property and pay it back." The requester said her son confronted her, insisting, "He can’t abandon me once I become an adult, can he?" Upon revealing this situation, the requester asked the detective to persuade her son to return, believing he misunderstood her support for him as abandoning him.

However, during the confrontation of the detective, requester, and son, the twist of the case unfolded. The son, who had to leave the orphanage upon turning eighteen, fought hard to survive but lived in poverty, always running after money. During this time, he learned of the potential for lucrative profits through "organ trading" and initiated an adoption planning with the requester. He was set to receive 150 million won in exchange for donating a liver but grew scared as the surgery date approached. After excessive internet searches, he went missing, driven by greed to inherit a large amount of money without giving up his liver.

When the dangerous transaction between the requester, who aimed for a "liver," and the fake son, who aimed for "inheritance," was revealed, the detective withdrew from the case. Han Seok-jun expressed his horror, saying, "The reality of this true story is terrifying," in shock over the thriller-level twist. Legal advisor Namsung noted, "Both parties appear desperate, but patients hoping for organ transplants are rightly waiting for their turn. There’s no need to sympathize with the individuals in this story," expressing incredulity at the severity of the case described as a "crime gift set."
