RM of the group BTS shared his thoughts as there are 99 days left until his discharge.
On the 3rd, RM posted a lengthy message on the official fan community Weverse saying, "Is it spring outside? It snowed 17 cm in Hwacheon."
He said, "I finally dropped out of the front line of military life. Like Robin Hood, I'm marking an X on the calendar day by day." He noted, "When I do the nighttime roll call, I have a habit of lighting a reading lantern. Recently, I've been reading Erich Fromm's "The Art of Loving," which I had been putting off."
He continued, "There are about three months left. That's 18% in percentage. Will I die before then? I need to greet you all healthily. As the room of mind and time.. the gravity feels heavier day by day. Maybe it's because there are four sticks; it's hard to go, but the Ministry of National Defense says that the clock runs even if you hang it upside down. I plan to hang it upside down, twist it, and even hang it at a 540-degree angle. I will also reorganize my love and feelings well before returning."
Lastly, he remarked, "There are many stories I want to tell through music and language. It's spring now. Spring is coming! (While clearing 17 cm of snow). If it feels a bit hot, I plan to keep annoying you all until then, so I hope you live your best lives before that."
Meanwhile, RM enlisted as an active-duty soldier with V in December 2023 and is currently serving in the Army's 15th Infantry Division in Hwacheon, Gangwon Province. His discharge date is June 10.

Now, university students are starting the semester,
and friends in elementary, middle, and high school are starting a new school year.

What does it mean to say there's a technique to love?
Does it make sense to work on love?
Here's my point:
We practice and hone our skills a hundred or thousands of times to draw well, to play the guitar well, to study well,
but why do we try to love, the most important thing in life, without any practice or mastery?
That heart that wants to take the easy way out!
In modern society, love is
emphasized as intense emotions and drama
by media and capitalism,
but in fact, it is a solemn determination, a promise, and a commitment.
Love comes in various kinds, temperatures, and expressions.
For us, who are not in a one-on-one relationship,
but rather in a many-to-one or one-to-many situation, what are we?
What do people who create music create,
and what are those who listen to music listening to?
What do we look at
and what do we love?
With what determination have I stood in front of you for 11 years?
I contemplated such soft thoughts.
The conclusion is.. I recommend reading it at least once.
