On the April 3rd broadcast of SBS 'Same Bed, Different Dreams Season 2: You Are My Destiny,' actor Yang Hyun-min appeared with his wife Choi Cham-sarang as a new destined couple, capturing attention as he revealed his side job of tinting cars.
After finishing cleaning that day, Choi Cham-sarang accompanied Yang Hyun-min on his personal schedule. She took care of him by preparing snacks specifically for him. Yang Hyun-min said, "Even if I say I'm taking a taxi, she asks why I need to take a taxi. I'm so grateful when she invests her time to make things comfortable for me."
Lee Hyun noted, "She takes care of him almost like a son." In response, Yang Hyun-min said, "That's exactly right. She does take care of me like a son," attracting attention.
Yang Hyun-min headed to a mysterious location. He said, "I went to do vehicle tinting. My father runs a car center, and I learned the skills naturally by working part-time since I was in the second year of middle school."
Yang Hyun-min met actor Lee Hani, who appeared in 'Squid Game 2.' She explained that she grew her hair during her break. Yang Hyun-min said, "I've been resting without doing anything for four years," drawing attention as he mentioned he's currently on a break.
Yang Hyun-min began tinting cars skillfully, showcasing his expertise. Despite the bitter cold, he started working in a short-sleeved shirt, and not long after, he joked, "Let's get in the car for a moment. Turn on the heater," causing everyone around to burst into laughter.
However, Yang Hyun-min surprised everyone by stating that he couldn't do the front and rear tinting. He joked, "Only professional technicians can do the front and rear," eliciting laughter.
Meanwhile, Choi Cham-sarang went on a date with her mother-in-law. She said, "We usually go to cafes together and often go shopping." Yang Hyun-min mentioned, "If my mother is unwell, I go to the hospital with her. Before going, I research the illness and talk to the doctor. I'm very grateful as a son."
In the past, Yang Hyun-min said his mother even sold her gold ring to support him. Choi Cham-sarang remarked, "I always thought my brother acted really well in Daehangno. So I believed he would succeed someday. I thought it would happen quickly, but it took longer than expected," making everyone laugh.
However, Yang Hyun-min drew attention by stating that his father opposed his path as an actor. He said, "Since performances are at night, I come home late, but my father wakes up early. He used to ask me every morning why I was still sleeping. My father is a man who only knows work."
Yang Hyun-min said, "Rather than opposing, he told me to make a decision. I think he was anxious as a father. He told me to either take over the family car center or become financially independent. I said I would go without hesitation. So I worked in a sink factory on a daily basis. I was 35 at that time."
Yang Hyun-min noted, "My father's suggestion made me realize that I really wanted to act." His mother added, "These days, your father believes in Hyun-min too. He says he has given birth to a famous person," bringing laughter.
