The group ZEROBASEONE's "ZB1 craze" has been reignited in Japan.
According to the Japanese Oricon News on 4th, ZEROBASEONE (Seong Han-bin, Kim Ji-woong, Zhang Hao, Seok Matthew, Kim Tae-rae, Ricky, Kim Gyu-bin, Park Geon-wook, Han Yu-jin) sold over 57,000 copies of their mini album "BLUE PARADISE" and climbed to the top of the Oricon weekly album ranking as of March 10 (accounting period February 24 to March 2).
This marks the third time ZEROBASEONE has achieved first place on the Oricon weekly album ranking. In particular, ZEROBASEONE also ranked first in the same chart with their first Japanese EP "PREZENT" as of February 10, making ZEROBASEONE the only K-pop group and overall artist to have two albums reach number one on that chart in 2025.
ZEROBASEONE is showcasing global popularity alongside their comeback. "BLUE PARADISE" sold over 1 million copies on the day of its release, quickly becoming a "million seller." Additionally, the album reached number one on the iTunes "Top Albums" chart in 17 regions worldwide and ranked second on the worldwide iTunes album chart. All the tracks, including the title song "BLUE," charted on Melon TOP100 and HOT100, major music sites in South Korea.
The popularity of ZEROBASEONE in the islands is particularly explosive. Although "BLUE PARADISE" is an album released domestically, it ranks third on the iTunes "Top Albums" chart in Japan, third on the Apple Music comprehensive album ranking, and fourth on the Amazon Digital Music album popularity ranking, demonstrating the presence of a "fifth-generation icon."
ZEROBASEONE is expected to be active in various areas, including music broadcasts, with their title song "BLUE."
