On the show '4-Person Table,' Lee Ha-nee mentioned her non-celebrity husband and shared her childbirth story.
Lee Ha-nee appeared on Channel A's entertainment show '4-Person Table' that aired on the 3rd.
Earlier, Lee Ha-nee, an actress who is a former Miss Korea, married non-celebrity financier Peter Chang in December 2021 and gave birth to a daughter in June 2022. Kang Boo-ja made everyone laugh by saying, "You really get prettier, your charm matures more after becoming a mom; you look like a married woman now."
When asked about her husband's titles, Lee Ha-nee said, "Just honey, dear," to which Kang Boo-ja laughed and responded, "Don't say 'oppa'; it can't be 'oppa' when you're having a baby together," speaking in a traditional style and making everyone laugh. Lee Ha-nee said, "Titles are important; even when I get angry, it calms me down because it's 'honey.'" However, when pointed out that her tone was somewhat lecturing, Lee Ha-nee replied, "Still, it doesn't escalate into a big fight."
Lee Ha-nee mentioned that her husband accompanied her in the delivery room during childbirth, saying, "Husbands don't fully understand childbirth, but I wanted to share the experience with him," indicating that they did 'kangaroo care' together.
Lee Ha-nee shared, "My husband came in with his upper body bare and wearing a gown, saying he wanted to hear the baby's heartbeat before anyone else, and he did just that." Lee Ha-nee said, "I felt like I gave birth together with my husband when he was there in the delivery room, cheering me on throughout the night. I thought it would be an easy delivery, but it took 37 hours to give birth." She explained that the baby was too high up and not descending. Lee Ha-nee added, "I was having contractions, but there were no signs of the baby coming out."
Even as her due date approached, Lee Ha-nee went shopping at a mall to buy maternity supplies she hadn't had time for, noting, "They said I was doing something very risky and that I was crazy," and added, "I thought about going to the hospital if anything happened as I left home. "
She also talked about her debut story on that day. Lee Ha-nee, who won the title of Miss Korea in 2006, started gaining recognition when she placed 4th in the Miss Universe pageant in 2007. She coincidentally began taking acting classes afterward.
When asked about her recent activities, Lee Ha-nee noted that she filmed a movie titled 'People Upstairs' (tentative title) directed by Ha Jung-woo, adding, "My husband appears along with Ha Jung-woo, Gong Hyo-jin, and Kim Dong-wook."
