Actress Oh Na-ra opened up about the cohabitation rumors with her long-term partner, actor Kim Do-hun.
On the 3rd, a preview video featuring actors Park Young-kyu, Oh Na-ra, and So Yu-jin, who are appearing in the KBS2 new drama 'Villain's Country,' was released on the YouTube channel 'Jjanhan-hyung Shin Dong-yeob.'
In the video, Park Young-kyu stated, "I really think it's amazing that Na-ra has been living with her boyfriend for 25 years without getting married." In response, Oh Na-ra was visibly startled and said, "What do you mean by living?"
Park Young-kyu then asked, "Why aren't you getting married?" To this, Oh Na-ra replied, "I've been really busy and couldn't." Park Young-kyu humorously noted, "Even in the chaos of war, love blooms, and people get married."
Oh Na-ra has been in a relationship with actor Kim Do-hun, whom she met during the musical 'The Last Empress' in 2000. Now in their 25th year together, Oh Na-ra expressed her affection in 2022 when she won the Best Supporting Actress award at the 43rd Blue Dragon Film Awards, saying, "To Kim Do-hun, who taught me early on that wealth is not material but people, I love you."
In a later interview, Oh Na-ra recounted, "Kim Do-hun was at a blood sausage soup restaurant with acquaintances when it was said he saw me receiving an award. An acquaintance rang the Golden Bell. Kim Do-hun was one of those who provided support. That person said, 'It makes me happy as if it were my own that Do-hun's sister-in-law is doing well,' and rang the Golden Bell."
Oh Na-ra particularly noted, "Over the more than 20 years we have known each other, I have learned so much from him. When I was younger, I was a perfectionist. Perfectionists can be prickly, and when things don't go as planned, they suffer. I met Kim Do-hun, who is the complete opposite. He taught me to think, 'In the end, it doesn't matter,' 'Don't be too hard on yourself,' 'To run long, you must be generous to yourself and treat those around you well,' and 'What remains is people.' My boyfriend has a saying in his long-standing business: 'Even if you only have 10,000 won left, that's still a gain.' He has a style of being generous and giving. This kind of mindset doesn't come from a lack of respect for or consideration towards people. I have learned and grown up watching him since I was young. Kim Do-hun has many people around him and has received a lot of help, teaching me to treat others well too. I am really grateful.
