The legacy of Taiwanese actress Koo (故) Hsiu-Hsiu has reportedly been equally distributed between her husband Koo Jun-yeob and their two children.

According to local media including China Times on the 3rd, Hsiu-Hsiu's estate has been equally inherited in thirds by Koo Jun-yeob and their two children, as per local laws. However, since the two children are minors, Wang Xiao-Pei, Hsiu-Hsiu's ex-husband and biological father, will manage the finances until they reach adulthood. Custody will also go to Wang Xiao-Pei.

In this regard, local media reported that "Hsiu-Hsiu's mother and Wang Xiao-Pei have amicably reached an agreement in accordance with the law." Previously, Koo Jun-yeob stated through his Instagram that "the precious legacy that Hsiu-Hsiu left behind was gathered with great effort to protect our beloved family, so I intend to give all my rights to my mother-in-law."

Meanwhile, Chinese media estimates Hsiu-Hsiu's estate to be 600 million yuan (approximately 120 billion won). Hsiu-Hsiu rose to fame as the heroine San-Chai in the Taiwanese version of "Boys Over Flowers," titled "Meteor Garden," in 2001. After divorcing Wang Xiao-Pei, she married her 20-year-old former lover Koo Jun-yeob in March 2022. She suddenly passed away last month on the 2nd due to complications from pneumonia that started with the flu.
