Actor Cha Tae-hyun has left the agency he founded and is starting anew.
On 4th, Blossom Entertainment stated to OSEN, "The exclusive contract with actor Cha Tae-hyun expired as of January."
Cha Tae-hyun founded Blossom Entertainment with a manager he had worked with for over 13 years at his former agency, SidusHQ, making his independent debut in 2012.
Since then, he has continued to accompany various grants as a member of Blossom over the past 13 years. In this context, he has terminated his exclusive contract with Blossom Entertainment, and both will walk their own paths.
In response, Blossom said, "Actor Cha Tae-hyun has been with us since the founding, and we are very grateful to him," adding, "We decided to support each other as we go our separate ways," announcing their amicable parting.
However, regarding reports that Cha Tae-hyun is preparing to establish a new agency with his close friend Jo In-sung, he noted, "I have no knowledge about his future whereabouts at all."
