'Riding Life' Jeon Hye-jin visits a fortune teller due to the never-ending worries about education and sitters.
Genie TV's original drama 'Riding Life' (directed by Kim Cheol-kyu, written by Seong Yoon-a and Cho Won-dong, planned by KT Studio Genie, produced by Betty & Creators) has become a hot topic as it premiered on March 3 as a 'Daechi-dong live-action' drama. It depicts the recent hot topic of private education for young children and the story of a three-generational family involved in it, providing both realistic empathy and dramatic fun. The acting synergy of Jeon Hye-jin and Jo Min-soo, who play mother and daughter, has been praised for enhancing the immersion.
In the first episode, working mom Jeong Eun (played by Jeon Hye-jin) asks her mother Ji-a (played by Jo Min-soo) to help with her daughter Seo-yoon's (played by Kim Sa-rang) academy riding. Jeong Eun struggles with work, and when the sitter suddenly quits, her daily life becomes chaotic. Ji-a, feeling sorry for her daughter who is anxiously pacing, promises to help with Seo-yoon's riding until a sitter is found.
In the second episode of 'Riding Life,' airing on March 4, Jeong Eun struggles to find a sitter, which is as difficult as picking a star from the sky, causing her a headache. Her visit to a reputed fortune teller among Daechi moms is teased, drawing interest. Jeong Eun wonders if Seo-yoon will be able to enter a prestigious elementary school and if she can find a sitter. She receives a fortune saying, "A precious person is coming," raising curiosity about who will be the savior to ease Jeong Eun’s worries. Kim Tae-hoon’s special appearance as the shaman Cheonsang-jang-gun is expected to add to the fun.
Ji-a, who struck back at the irresponsible former sitter in the middle of an English academy, makes a strong impression on the Daechi moms with a bold initiation. Ji-a's experience of being ostracized while receiving the peculiar gazes of Daechi moms sparks curiosity as the world of Daechi moms unfolds through the eyes of a novice rider. Additionally, the second episode preview features Ji-a seemingly recognizing 'Super Mom' Ho-kyung (played by Park Bo-kyung), heightening anticipation.
The story of Daechi moms will unfold even more thrillingly in the second episode of Genie TV's original drama 'Riding Life,' which will be available on March 4 at 10 p.m. on Genie TV, Genie TV mobile, and ENA.
