The '24-Hour Health Club,' which operates year-round, announces its membership recruitment.
The new Wednesday-Thursday drama '24-Hour Health Club' (directed by Park Joon-soo and Choi Yeon-soo, written by Kim Ji-soo, produced by CJ ENM STUDIOS and Bon Factory), set to premiere on April 30 at 9:50 p.m. on KBS 2TV, features a thrilling growth comedy where the fitness enthusiast Do Hyun-joong corrects the lives of overly worried new gym members.
Earlier, the casting news of popular actors Lee Joon-young and Jung Eun-ji, along with others such as Im Mi-do, Lee Seung-woo, Park Sung-yeon, Lee Ji-hye, and Hong Yoon-hwa, heightened drama fans' expectations. Today (4th), a teaser poster capturing the first impression of '24-Hour Health Club' was released.
The released poster features a wall imbued with emotions from years past, displaying gym usage rules written in handwriting along with intense messages from the director, attracting attention.
The phrase 'Time is muscle' clearly illustrates the obsession with muscle and the philosophy of the health club. Additionally, the slogan 'What we must gather is muscle,' along with an emphasis on 'muscle' rather than 'gold,' hints at the health club's unique sense of humor. The list of prohibited items includes 'beverages, sweet potatoes, and pumpkin punch,' arousing curiosity. Notably, the determination of the gym director to gain muscle from the sweet potatoes wrapped tightly in tape evokes sympathy.
Moreover, it creates interest by offering a glimpse of the atmosphere of the gym run by Do Hyun-joong (played by Lee Joon-young), who suddenly inherits an old gym from a world-renowned bodybuilder. The story of the fitness enthusiast Do Hyun-joong and the new gym member Im Mi-ran (played by Jung Eun-ji) raises various imaginations among prospective viewers as they wonder what kind of laughter and emotion the drama will deliver.
'24-Hour Health Club,' which anticipates the birth of an unprecedented health drama, features the collaboration of director Park Joon-soo, recognized for his vibrant direction in works such as 'Gauss Electronics' and 'The God of Music,' and writer Kim Ji-soo, who showcased delicate yet delightful writing in 'The Postnatal Care Center.'
The new Wednesday-Thursday drama '24-Hour Health Club,' aired as a follow-up to 'The Land of Villains,' will premiere on April 30 at 9:50 p.m. on KBS 2TV.
