Actors Son Chang-min, Sun Woo-jae-deok, and Park Sang-myeon come together as the three musketeers.
The new daily drama 'Catch the Great Luck,' scheduled to air for the first time in April on KBS 1TV, depicts the tumultuous growth journey of three friends who are wealthy, poor, and want to be rich, along with their families.
'Catch the Great Luck' is the collaboration of director Park Man-young, who has been recognized for his directing skills in various genres such as 'Brave Siblings,' 'Manhole – The Country of Wonder,' 'Odd Daughter-in-law,' 'Sweet Secret,' and 'The Man of the Vineyard,' and writer Son Ji-hye, who has touched viewers' hearts with many family dramas.
Here, veteran actors Son Chang-min, Sun Woo-jae-deok, and Park Sang-myeon complete the blockbuster lineup, raising the expectations of potential viewers to a peak.
First, Son Chang-min plays the role of Han Moo-cheol, the owner of the Daewon Building, who believes that money is everything. Moo-cheol, obsessed with making money rather than valuing family, is wealthy enough to own multiple properties but is a severe miser, trembling even at the thought of spending 100 won. One day, as he greedily strives to acquire more, misfortune begins to strike. Expectations are high for what kind of performance veteran actor Son Chang-min will deliver in this role, as well as the chemistry between friends Son Chang-min, Sun Woo-jae-deok, and Park Sang-myeon, who are in a client-supplier relationship.
Sun Woo-jae-deok plays the role of Kim Dae-sik, Moo-cheol's high school classmate and rival, who is now a tenant in Moo-cheol's building. Dae-sik runs a chicken restaurant with his wife on the first floor of the Daewon Building. Although he has nothing, he is a K-father dedicated to his family, which is bound together by love and trust. However, he faces bankruptcy due to Moo-cheol, the unscrupulous landlord and friend, raising the deposit. Attention is focused on how Sun Woo-jae-deok, who has shown his acting talent in various genres, will captivate viewers in this work.
Park Sang-myeon takes on the role of Choi Gyu-tae, a friend of Moo-cheol and Dae-sik and the owner of Ildeung Real Estate. Gyu-tae is a cunning person skilled in flattery, grateful to Moo-cheol for entrusting him with all the buildings, yet he has many grievances. After losing his wife, he raises his son Min-yong alone but faces a major hurdle when he suddenly needs money for his son's heart surgery. Expectations are high for the delightful and positive energy that Park Sang-myeon, who has led the center of various works with his unique acting, will deliver.
'Catch the Great Luck' production team stated, "It is an honor to have the irreplaceable acting talents of Son Chang-min, Sun Woo-jae-deok, and Park Sang-myeon all in one production," adding, "Please look forward to the synergy of their performances, which will ensure the completeness of the drama while providing laughter and emotion to viewers."
Meanwhile, 'Catch the Great Luck' will air for the first time in April as a follow-up to 'Let's Get Married, Maenggong!'
