Taiwanese actor Wang Da Lu, known in South Korea from the film 'Our Times,' has added to the shock with attempted murder charges following allegations of draft evasion.

According to foreign media such as TVBS on the 4th, Wang Da Lu was arrested on attempted murder charges. He called for an airport pickup vehicle through an app but felt dissatisfied with the shabby condition of the car, resulting in a conflict with the driver and mobilizing people to assault the dispatcher. Not only did he hit the two individuals, but Wang Da Lu also filmed the assault, and when this became known, he was caught by the police at his home.

Wang Da Lu was arrested and questioned by the police on allegations of draft evasion on the 18th of last month. To evade military service, he paid 1 million New Taiwan dollars (approximately 44 million won) to a professional organization and fabricated a heart condition according to their instructions, deceiving a doctor to obtain a false medical certificate to avoid military service.

He was later released after posting bail of 150,000 yuan (approximately 30 million won). He is scheduled to enter the National Army training center, Chenggong Ling (成功嶺), located in Taichung, Taiwan, on the 13th, where he will undergo military training for 21 days and serve for one year under the alternative service system (대체역).

As a result, Wang Da Lu was involved in an assault incident while using a ride-sharing system to return to Taiwan and is facing attempted murder charges. Many fans in Taiwan and Korea are expressing their condemnation.
