The 'Gen Z Beauty' rookie group KiiiKiii (Kiki: Jiyu, Isol, Sui, Ha-eum, Kiya) successfully completed their first week of music broadcasts for their pre-debut.
Kiki, ahead of the official release of their first debut mini album 'UNCUT GEM' on March 24, appeared on music broadcasts starting from Mnet 'M Countdown', KBS 2TV 'Music Bank', MBC 'Show! Music Core', and SBS 'Inkigayo' with their pre-debut song 'I DO ME', which was unveiled on the 24th, demonstrating stage manners that are hard to believe for newcomers and a style bursting with Gen Z vibe.
Each music broadcast caught attention with debut opening video clips of various concepts, and the vibrant live performance and free-spiritedness increased immersion against a whimsical stage set that seemed to recreate the nature from the 'I DO ME' music video. In particular, the unique vocal tones of the members captivated the ears by adding freshness and grandeur to the song, and the nature-friendly lyrics like 'bean ladybug / That's my piercing,' along with the games of hide and seek, were expressed in Kiki's own choreography, raising expectations for the performances to come.
'I DO ME' is Kiki's pre-debut song from their debut album and first mini album 'UNCUT GEM', expressing the heart of an independent girl who believes in her instincts and confidently lives. After the music video was pre-released on the 16th, it reached the top position on the domestic YouTube trending videos (hereinafter referred to as 'trending videos') within 12 hours and maintained the top spot on the trending music videos for four consecutive days, registering in the top ranks of QQ Music and LINE Music charts, demonstrating its hot popularity both domestically and abroad.
