Go Joon-hee said, 'Just because I'm tall and have an urban appearance, it's hurtful to be seen as a cold and prickly person. All along, Go Joon-hee had been struggling with the Burning Sun rumors. In 2019, SBS's 'I Want to Know That' reported on the 'Burning Sun Gate' scandal, mentioning that a 'New York actress' appeared in a group chat that included Seungri, Jung Joon-young, and Choi Jong-hoon; Go Joon-hee was referred to as the 'Burning Sun actress' because of a photo taken with Seungri.
Subsequently, Go Joon-hee filed lawsuits against the malicious commenters spreading baseless rumors and engaged in a legal battle.
