The group IVE is continuing its No. 1 streak during a hiatus.
IVE (Ahn Yu-jin, Fall, RAY, Jang Won-young, Liz, Lee Seo) secured the top spot in the first week of March with the title track 'ATTITUDE' from their third mini album 'IVE EMPATHY,' which aired on MBC's 'Show! Music Core' on the 1st.
IVE, which topped 'Show! Music Core' for the last week of February with the pre-released song 'REBEL HEART,' has now claimed the top position for the first week of March with 'ATTITUDE,' marking their second consecutive 'Show! Music Core' trophy. This reflects IVE's enduring popularity after their official activities concluded on the 16th of last month with SBS's 'Inkigayo.'
With this, IVE has achieved four music show wins with 'ATTITUDE.' Previously, IVE had reached 11 music show wins with 'REBEL HEART,' amassing a total of 15 music show wins with the 'IVE EMPATHY' album.
IVE expressed gratitude through their agency Starship Entertainment, saying, "Even though our activities have ended, we are thankful for the continued love from many. Thanks to our fans (known as DIVE) and those who love our songs, we feel that IVE can continue to deliver music true to ourselves. We will be having a fan concert in April soon, and we will prepare even harder with a thankful heart. I hope our DIVE fans are looking forward to it, and we want to see you soon."
Even after the official conclusion of activities, IVE is not only being nominated for No. 1 on various music shows but has also added another trophy to their collection, maintaining upper chart positions on key domestic music streaming sites with 'REBEL HEART' and 'ATTITUDE,' showcasing an unyielding pursuit of popularity. Notably, 'REBEL HEART' recorded the No. 1 spot on the monthly chart for February on Melon and GENIE MUSIC.
'ATTITUDE,' which has recently shown a remarkable rise in popularity, is a song that depicts the idea that the only thing one can change in an unchangeable situation is their attitude, and it encourages embracing the situation cheerfully. The 'RAY-led 'Running Guinea Pig' challenge has been gaining traction, maintaining a solid popularity even after their activities concluded.
Recently, IVE, who successfully completed their new album 'IVE EMPATHY,' will hold their third fan concert 'IVE SCOUT' at the KSPO Dome (former gymnastics arena) in Seoul on April 5 and 6, with both days sold out.
