On the 1st, the tvN weekend drama "Potato Research Institute" (written by Kim Ho-soo, directed by Kang Il-soo and Shim Jae-hyun) depicted the reunion of Kim Mi-kyung (Lee Sun-bin) and So Baek-ho (Kang Tae-oh).
So Baek-ho visited the Potato Research Institute for filming while Kim Mi-kyung and the "Potato Research Institute" staff were in Seoul to receive their employment records.
When the staff hurried back and confronted him, So Baek-ho noted, "I did not investigate. I only checked the shared items. As if receiving this curse, the young magpie "Sun-nyeo," who Kim Mi-kyung had saved as a chick, fiercely attacked So Baek-ho, causing him to stumble and fall into a potato field.
So Baek-ho, accompanying Kim Mi-kyung to the hospital, said, "I know that you are working hard at the institute. Even if they are all potatoes, I think they are different samples. I was impressed, and since I will not jump to conclusions, don't worry and focus on your work." Kim Mi-kyung felt reassured by this statement.
However, the following day, the dismissal of Hong Soon-ik (Kim Kyu-cheol) as the director enveloped Kim Mi-kyung in a sense of betrayal. Kim Mi-kyung, burning with fighting spirit, reached for the cigarette she had put down, but the sudden rain soaked it, making it impossible to smoke. With nothing going her way, Kim Mi-kyung took out her frustration on the swing at the guesthouse and eventually burst into tears.
At that moment, a man offered her an umbrella, saying, "I'm sorry, I'm a spiteful bastard." Kim Mi-kyung thought he was her younger brother but was shocked to realize that the man was So Baek-ho.
