A youth film starring Young Posse is set to be released.
Young Posse (Jung Seon-hye, Wi Yeon-jeong, Gianna, Do-eun, Han Ji-eun) will release a special album titled "COLD" today, at 6 p.m. through various music sites.
The title track "COLD (feat. 10CM)" talks about the temperature difference that messes with our hearts. A gentle guitar riff reminiscent of the cold night air unfolds over a classical boom bap beat, showcasing Young Posse's musical capabilities that freely traverse between vocals and rap. The deep voice of 10CM features prominently, adding depth to the narrative.
The music video released alongside the track was filmed entirely in Taiwan. It marks Young Posse's first drama-style music video, directed by renowned Taiwanese director Remy Huang, with Taiwanese youth star Zeng Jinghua playing the male lead, enhancing the overall quality. It hints at the unpredictable youth film unique to Young Posse, led by Wi Yeon-jeong and Do-eun.
The special album "COLD" contains a total of seven tracks. Centered on the title track "COLD (feat. 10CM)," it includes five vocal tracks: "Lovestagram," "Blue Dot," "Daddy Don't Leave Me," "Santa Claus left me no goodz," "Oskar's Drawing," and two instrumental tracks that create a narrative structure. Especially, each track represents the feelings of the characters played by Young Posse and Zeng Jinghua in the music video, offering both visual and auditory enjoyment.
Through "COLD," Young Posse presents a different charm that has not been shown before. The differentiated teaser promotion, reminiscent of a film release, stands out, with all members participating in the songwriting, showcasing yet another broad musical spectrum.
Meanwhile, Young Posse's special album "COLD" will be released nationwide today, at 6 p.m.
