The group INFINITE successfully completed their 15th debut anniversary tour.
INFINITE (Kim Sungkyu, Jang Dongwoo, Nam Woohyun, Lee Sungyeol, L, Lee Sungjong) concluded their 15th debut anniversary concert 'LIMITED EDITION' tour with a performance held at AXA x WONDERLAND in Hong Kong on the 1st.
INFINITE opened the 'LIMITED EDITION' tour with a spectacular performance at the KSPO DOME (former gymnastics arena) in Olympic Park, Seoul, in December last year. They showcased their talents across 13 performances in a total of 8 cities, including Taipei, Macau, Jakarta, Singapore, Yokohama, Kuala Lumpur, and Hong Kong, reaffirming their status as 'K-pop legends.'
It has been about 9 years since INFINITE held a solo concert in Hong Kong as a complete group, since their second world tour 'INFINITE EFFECT' in 2016. The concert, held at the outdoor venue AXA x WONDERLAND, added a romantic atmosphere. The members greeted their long-awaited local fans with 'I missed you so much' in the local language and received overwhelming cheers welcoming INFINITE's return to Hong Kong.
Sungkyu, who had experienced pain with the passing of his older sister, also participated in the concert. Sungkyu lost his sister on the 22nd of last month and did not attend the concert held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. After completing the funeral, he officially returned to activities on the 1st, and with the Hong Kong concert, concluded INFINITE's 15th debut anniversary tour.
During the concert, INFINITE performed hits that received explosive love from global fans, including 'Last Romeo,' 'PARADISE,' 'The Eye,' 'New Emotions,' 'Back,' 'Destiny,' 'Chaser,' 'Let's Be Mine,' 'Man In Love,' 'Nothing's Over,' and 'Sad Loop.'
They also presented a variety of cherished songs such as 'Inception,' 'Prayer (Sadness of Metel),' 'Where Longing Reaches,' 'AIR,' 'She's Back,' and 'Find Me.' The group's sharp choreography, characteristic of being the 'original synchronized dance group,' showcased their unwavering live performance skills and heated up the atmosphere.
Special solo stages were also presented, showcasing the unique colors and charms of the six members. Kim Sungkyu sang Nam Woohyun's solo song 'Between Calmness and Passion,' while Nam Woohyun performed Kim Sungkyu's solo song 'Kontrol.' Lee Sungyeol sang Jang Dongwoo's 'TGIF,' and Lee Sungjong presented 'Monster Time,' while L showcased 'Shot,' and Jang Dongwoo performed 'True Love' in their own solo versions, impressively overwhelming both eyes and ears.
INFINITE freely moved around the concert venue, warmly connecting and sharing glances with Hong Kong fans they hadn't seen in a long time. They built anticipation for their upcoming eighth mini album 'LIKE INFINITE,' set to release on the 6th, by saying, 'There isn't much time left until our comeback. We ask for your attention and love from Hong Kong as well,' while surprising the crowd with a sneak peek of the choreography for the title track 'Dangerous.'
During a VCR segment mid-concert, a reflection on INFINITE's brilliant 15-year history titled '15 Years Condensed Exploration' played. In the video, the members chose their top song based on various themes and showcased their cheerful camaraderie and teamwork, eliciting laughs. At the end of the video, a heartfelt video letter to Inspirit (the official fan club name of INFINITE) brought a touching moment to the audience.
Responding to the fans' infinite encore requests, INFINITE returned to the stage to passionately perform 'Come Back Again,' 'Leave It to Me,' 'Please Finish It,' and 'White Confession.' The concert ended with everyone breathing and enjoying together, displaying their unending passion and energy, beautifully illuminating the night in Hong Kong.
Having successfully concluded the 'LIMITED EDITION' tour, which lasted about three months, INFINITE expressed their feelings through their agency, INFINITE Company, saying, 'Thanks to the support of Inspirit, we were able to complete our 15th anniversary tour safely. We sincerely thank you for being with us and allowing us to feel great happiness, and we will repay you with good activities.'
Meanwhile, powered by the enthusiastic support of global fans, INFINITE confirmed a 'LIMITED EDITION' encore concert to be held over two days, April 12 and 13, at Inspire Arena in Incheon, Yeongjongdo.
