Actor Lee Jae-yong shared a heartbreaking story related to his second child.
On the broadcast of MBN's 'Sokpulishow Dongchimi' on the 1st, the topic of discussion was 'born as a child, living as a parent.'
Lee Jae-yong said, 'The second child communicated well with the parents and was a beautiful little one. After drinking, I would find that child coming into my arms in the morning, smiling to wake me up. One day, while playing at my in-law's house, he suffered a serious injury to his forehead. When I picked him up to take him to the hospital, he was bleeding heavily. It was terrifying for me,' recalling the moment that was frightening.
He said, 'They needed to administer treatment but he couldn't be anesthetized. The parents asked for help. The 4-year-old was thrashing about, and my body was shaking. Watching him bleed and struggle was a painful memory for me,' surprising everyone.
Lee Jae-yong revealed, 'After the treatment, he lost his speech and began showing unusual symptoms. A few months later, when we visited the hospital, he was diagnosed with autism. I suspect the shock caused this situation. It wasn't a congenital issue, but rather a symptom that arose from trauma. My wife took care of him, but she was struggling. There were frequent conflicts between us as a couple because of differing opinions,' explaining that issues arose for his son after a major accident.
Lee Jae-yong added, 'One day, I saw a program in Australia that focused on healing with animals. My wife and sister-in-law went with me, and miraculously, his prognosis improved. One day, a person from Australia called me up.' He stated that after living in Australia, his son gradually began to recover.
Lee Jae-yong said, 'After returning to Korea and entering pre-school, he graduated from university. There are still residual effects, but he is also self-studying Japanese. Now, he is obsessed with animation and is trying to persuade me to join him in a partnership.'
