Famous American singer and actress Angie Stone has died.
According to reports from TMZ and Page Six on 1st (local time), Angie Stone died in a car accident while returning after a performance in Montgomery, Alabama.
Angie Stone's daughter, Diamond Stone (41), reported the sad news that day. She stated, "Mom has passed away."
Angie's representatives noted that the family and friends were deeply shocked by Angie Stone's death.
Angie Stone has a daughter, Diamond, with her ex-husband, and also has a 27-year-old son with D'Angelo.
Before her death, Angie promoted performances scheduled for February 28 in Alabama and March 1 in Baltimore. She said, "We have a tour booked, and there are many things in progress that I don't want to make public yet, but you will see a big smile on my face." Angie noted that she was involved in TV, film, tours, and with other artists.
She mentioned, "There are many projects," but she could no longer proceed with everything.
Angie Stone gained significant popularity when she joined the female trio group The Sequence in 1979 alongside Cheryl Cook and Gwendolyn Chisholm.
They signed a contract with Sugar Hill Records and released several albums from 1979 to 1985. In the 1990s, Angie began her solo career and released the album "Black Diamond" in 1999. She later transitioned to film, appearing in the 2002 comedy "Hot Chick" and the 2014 film "Ride Along." grants
