Chef Lu Ching Lai's son, Chef Yeo Min, cried, saying, "I've never thought of my father as a teacher," drawing attention to the background behind his statement.

The season 2 premiere of TV CHOSUN's 'Dad and Me' airs at 10 p.m. on Nov. 11, featuring '51-year veteran chef' Lu Ching Lai, his eldest son Chef Yeo Min, who works as a deputy kitchen manager at his father's restaurant, and the child actor Lee Geon-joo, who won the love of the nation through the drama 'One Roof, Three Families' and is currently on a path as a shaman. Previously, Lee Geon-joo shared through a teaser video for 'Dad and Me' that he was raised by his aunts and grandmother since he was 2 years old, and disclosed that he received threats and monetary demands from his father, evoking sympathy. Lee Geon-joo's story, hinting at a reunion with his father after 10 years through 'Dad and Me,' has garnered support and interest from many viewers.

'Dad and Me' released a teaser video showing the cold relationship between Lu Ching Lai and his son, which was perceived as even worse than that of colleagues. Lu Ching Lai is also the father of Chinese cuisine, respected by numerous disciples such as 'Chinese cuisine goddess' Park Eun-young, 'Iron Bag Chef' Lim Tae-hoon, and 'Dumpling Queen' Jeong Ji-sun.

Last year, Lu Ching Lai became a topic of conversation by revealing his strong affection and kind nature towards his disciples through 'Black and White Chef: Cooking Class War.' However, in response, his son Yeo Min expressed his disappointment, saying, "As the son, why does he take care of others more?" He also stated, "We're family, but he doesn't even tell me... If he had told me, I would have truly learned hard," revealing his discontent towards his father.

Yeo Min, the son of Lu Ching Lai, expressed, "I've never thought of Chef Lu Ching Lai as my teacher," showing frustration. In response, Lu Ching Lai reacted strongly, saying, "I feel like I would be turned inside out just thinking about my son." During the conversation, Lu Ching Lai abruptly stood up, stating, "It's a conclusionless conversation," while Yeo Min ended up shedding tears. The truth behind their relationship will be revealed in 'Dad and Me' on Nov. 11 at 10 p.m.

TV CHOSUN's 'Dad and Me' season 2, which addresses the hidden story of father and son Lu Ching Lai and Yeo Min, as well as the long-awaited reunion of 'Sundor' Lee Geon-joo after 10 years, will premiere on Tuesday, Mar. 11 at 10 p.m.
