Chef Lee Yeon-bok encounters an unexpected accident while working in 'It's a blessing to take a break.'
The MBC entertainment program 'It's a blessing to take a break' airing on March 3rd (directed by Kim Myung-jin, Shin Hyun-bin, Lee Joon-beom, Kim Ki-ho / writer Kwon Jeong-hee / hereinafter 'It's a blessing') episode 38, depicts the second story of the deserted island Chinese restaurant featuring executive Kim Dae-ho, culinary master Lee Yeon-bok, and Myung Se-bin and Yang Se-hyung. In the studio, 'CEO An' Ahn Jung-hwan, executive Boom, singer Jang Yae-eun, and chef RAY will watch and discuss their operation of the deserted island Chinese restaurant.
On that day, Kim Dae-ho decides to catch valuable seafood found in the depths of the sea as a new ingredient for the deserted island Chinese restaurant. Regarding this seafood, which is best enjoyed in winter, Lee Yeon-bok notes, "The liver of this fish is called 'the foie gras of the sea,'" and Kim Dae-ho adds, "The tail meat tastes as good as lobster," increasing anticipation.
However, Yang Se-hyung raises a question, saying, "Is there any Chinese dish that can be made with this fish?" This fish is tricky to handle and too expensive to be used in Chinese cuisine. Lee Yeon-bok also mentions that it is the first time he will attempt to cook with this fish on the show. Nevertheless, Lee Yeon-bok expresses confidence, saying, "I will show you once."
While pulling up the net laid in the deep sea to catch the fish, an accident occurs where Lee Yeon-bok gets bitten by the fish. Even in the emergency, he joyfully remarks, "If it's to catch this fish, I can get bitten ten times," raising curiosity.
Meanwhile, the identity of the seasonal winter fish that Lee Yeon-bok catches, even offering his hand, can be confirmed on March 3rd, Monday night at 9 p.m. on MBC 'It's a blessing to take a break.'
