Actor Harrison Ford from the film 'Indiana Jones' has shared unfortunate news about his condition.
According to a Page Six report on the 1st (local time), Harrison Ford stepped down from his position as a presenter at the 2025 Oscars the morning after being diagnosed with shingles on the 28th of last month.
Ford is said to be in a good condition as long as he rests. The hospital defined shingles as "a viral infection that causes painful rashes" and noted that it is not life-threatening.
Harrison Ford was announced as a presenter at the Oscars along with Zoe Saldana, Rachel Zegler, Samuel L. Jackson, and Gal Gadot.
His last official appearance was at the 2025 SAG Awards held in Los Angeles on Feb. 23. He attended the event with co-star Wendy Malick, who played his love interest in the film.
Harrison Ford recently stated in an interview that he is physically in good shape. He conducted the interview regarding the second season of the drama '1923', mentioning that he needs to ride a horse this season.
He said, "In reality, I don't think the requirements are as immense as they appear. I spent 30 minutes on the horse, and from a modern perspective, people might react, 'Wow, people used to do this,' but actually, it's not that difficult."
In the meantime, Ford has been experiencing personal stress recently as his mansion in Brentwood, California, was threatened by a Palisades fire that occurred in January.
At the time, he was captured sitting in the back of a police car while police were assessing his damages. Ford was also seen without any protective equipment when going out.
