The group ONF has raised its first terrestrial music broadcast trophy after 8 years since debut.
ONF topped the chart with the title track "The Stranger" from its second regular album Part.1 "ONF:MY IDENTITY" on KBS2's "Music Bank" broadcast on the 28th of last month.
It took ONF 2,766 days since debut to achieve first place on a terrestrial music broadcast, demonstrating a model of a 'slow-burning group.' In particular, ONF identified the goal of "first place on terrestrial music broadcasts" during its showcase before the comeback, making this victory even more significant.
That day, ONF expressed its heartfelt gratitude, saying, "Thanks to the fuse, we were able to receive this great award. We are truly grateful to the staff and family who supported us and put in effort together."
The tearful encore stage was also a hot topic. Overcome with emotion, ONF once again proved its reputation as an 'encore haven' with a perfect live performance that missed neither timing nor pitch.
Thus, ONF is achieving a 'career high' across various charts simultaneously with its comeback, continuing their momentum. ONF set a new record for first-week sales with "ONF:MY IDENTITY" and secured first place on the Circle Chart album chart. The title track "The Stranger" has also showcased its popularity by reaching number one on the domestic music charts immediately after release, along with topping the Circle Chart download chart.
Meanwhile, ONF, which has achieved a double victory in music broadcasts, will perform new songs today (1st) on MBC's "Show! Music Core" and on the 2nd at SBS's "Inkigayo."
