'K-band's top rookie' Dragon Pony conveys hopeful energy through music.
Dragon Pony (An Tae-gyu, Pyeon Seong-hyeon, Kwon Se-hyeok, Ko Gang-hoon) unveiled the group concept film for their second EP 'Not Out' on their official YouTube channel on the 28th of last month.
In the video, Dragon Pony, arriving one by one at the rehearsal room, prepares for practice and showcases their fluid band performance in a friendly atmosphere. Soon, as they step out of the rehearsal room and into the street, the members put up the 'Not Out' festival poster on the wall, marking the hopeful beginning of Dragon Pony.
In particular, the individual solo performances of each member, which appeared sequentially in the personal concept film, were combined to constitute the sound source for the title track 'Not Out,' enhancing the immersive sound experience. Additionally, some lyrics filled with passionate fervor, such as "We're just getting started / We're not crazy, it's not enough / Now we have to go crazier," were revealed, further elevating expectations for the complete song.
The title track 'Not Out' conveys a message of hope and passion, likening the struggles of modern youth—constantly challenging their dreams—to a baseball game situation, asserting that if one does not give up until the end, they can ultimately achieve their dreams even in failure and despair.
Meanwhile, Dragon Pony's second EP 'Not Out' will be released on the 19th at 6 p.m. through various music streaming sites.
