Seong-kang Jun's perilous undercover investigation heightened the tension.

In the Feb. 28 broadcast of MBC's Friday-Saturday drama 'Undercover High School' (planned by Nam Gung-seong-woo/written by Lim Young-bin/directed by Choi Jeong-in/produced by Neo Entertainment and Slingshot Studio), the third episode captured viewers with the process of Jeong Hae-seong (played by Seong-kang Jun) tracking the truth of another urban legend spreading throughout the school and a story that stimulates viewers' dopamine levels. The day’s viewership recorded a peak rating of 6.6% nationwide according to Nielsen Korea, and 6.7% in the metropolitan area, achieving its highest rating. Notably, when Hae-seong brought Gu to the scene of the bullying committee, the ending scene of the third episode, which signaled the beginning of the historic explosive revelation in the fourth episode, soared to 7.8%, adding to the thrill.

The broadcast revealed that the skeletal remains found in the basement ballet practice room were a model. Additionally, the key discovered with the skeletal model had the seal of the first chairman, Seo Byeong-mun (played by Kim Ui-seong), engraved with the words 'the beginning of the gold bullion,' further deepening the connection between the gold bullion and the urban legend.

Meanwhile, the circumstances of security guard Kim (played by Goo Min-hyeok), who was at the scene, were also revealed. Kim discovered the skeletal shape while inspecting the area and fled after throwing a hammer when someone descended to the basement. After Hae-seong left, Kim examined a mysterious notebook from a desk drawer, which contained keywords related to the Byeong-mun-go urban legend, raising suspicions about its identity.

The meeting between Hae-seong and Chairperson Seo Myeong-joo (played by Kim Shin-rok) was chilling. Hae-seong visited the school at midnight and discovered a keyhole behind the clock while looking around. Just as he was about to insert the key he found in the basement, Myeong-joo appeared, and Hae-seong managed to make an excuse by saying he dropped a coin. After Hae-seong left, Myeong-joo also found a hole to insert an old-fashioned key, watching Hae-seong meaningfully and amplifying the tension. As Hae-seong searched the school for the whereabouts of the gold bullion, the increasing encounters between him and Myeong-joo sparked curiosity about how their relationship would intertwine.

Meanwhile, an incident occurred involving Lee Dong-min's (played by Shin Jun-hang) grandmother being taken by the police. Dong-min's grandmother became a suspect in a case after her identification was misused on a gambling site, and with nothing he could do, Dong-min sought help from Hae-seong and Oh Soo-a (played by Jin Ki-joo). After much persuasion and contemplation, Soo-a took action to resolve the issue by anonymously reporting the violent incidents to the school bulletin board.

Due to the post, Dong-min and Park Tae-soo (played by Jang Seong-beom) were summoned to the chairperson's office, where Dong-min claimed that it was not Tae-soo who assaulted him, but rather all of Hae-seong's wrongdoing. Consequently, a bullying committee meeting was convened, making the situation increasingly complicated. Teachers and parents gathered in the meeting room for the bullying committee, but when Hae-seong did not arrive on time, they attempted to conclude the case. Watching this, Soo-a anxiously fidgeted her feet.

At the end of the broadcast, Hae-seong, who had been missing in action, surprised everyone. Viewers are eagerly awaiting the fourth episode, which promises to reveal what has happened to Hae-seong and what twists await at the bullying committee.

Viewers who watched the broadcast reacted passionately, saying, "I love it when Seong-kang Jun has his National Intelligence Service moment," "Seong-kang Jun's delivery of the lines is really good," "I find myself rooting for the friendship between Hae-seong and Dong-min," "Hae-seong and Soo-a's convenience store scene was so funny," "Soo-a pretending not to be a teacher is hilarious," "Seong-kang Jun and Kim Shin-rok finally clash, their acting is chilling," "Dong-min's situation is really unfortunate," and "Since the bullying committee has officially started, I am looking forward to an explosive situation in the next episode."

The broadcast will air today at 9:50 p.m.
