In the episode of MBN and Channel S 'Jeon Hyun-moo Plan 2' that aired on the 28th, Jeon Hyun-moo, Kwak Tube, and Kangnam shocked those around them by failing to secure a popular restaurant while embarking on a culinary tour in Andong.
Kangnam brought up the story of releasing his new song 'YASO.' Jeon Hyun-moo asked, "You sing well. Weren't you a rapper? A comedian?" which brought laughter. Jeon Hyun-moo told Kangnam, "We don't secure in advance. This is a place that hasn't even appeared on the show, so they might refuse," advising him to prepare.
Kangnam said, "If we get rejected, we'll finish filming quickly," to which Jeon Hyun-moo replied, "No. We'll go to the next house. We need to get our footage," eliciting laughter.
That day, Jeon Hyun-moo, Kwak Tube, and Kangnam arrived at a local Andong guk-su restaurant. Jeon Hyun-moo looked at the restaurant's exterior and worried, "I can't get permission to film here."
Upon seeing the filming team, the owner immediately said, "You don't need to film. This isn't a popular restaurant. Just leave," speaking bluntly. Jeon Hyun-moo tried to persuade him, but it wasn't easy. He decided to give it another shot and approached the restaurant.
The owner looked back at Jeon Hyun-moo and said, "You look really good in person," greeting, "Famous people are here. So nice to see you." However, the owner explained, "We are not here to make money. Please leave quickly. If we're shown on TV, we won't be able to get many customers," politely refusing.
Looking at Kangnam, Jeon Hyun-moo joked, "Didn't you arrive just now? We need to leave now to get back to Seoul quickly," causing those around them to burst into laughter.
That day, Jeon Hyun-moo and Kwak Tube headed to the next popular restaurant with Kangnam. Jeon Hyun-moo asked Kangnam, "Have you ever tried Andong guk-su?" To this, Kangnam replied, "I didn't even know there was Andong guk-su," prompting Jeon Hyun-moo to inquire, "Are you Korean?" Kangnam then asked about the four major Korean holidays that had appeared on the citizenship test.
Jeon Hyun-moo got three correct answers, namely Seollal, Chuseok, and Dano, but failed to get one. In response, Kangnam gave hints about the side dishes. He accurately mentioned the dates of the holidays, catching attention. Then, Kwak Tube said, "Arbor Day," leading to laughter since Kangnam knew about the holidays but not Arbor Day.
After tasting Andong guk-su, Jeon Hyun-moo remarked, "This is a completely different genre from the Andong guk-su I had in Seoul." The owner explained that Andong guk-su in this region is made with seafood broth, simmered for 24 hours in the traditional way, resulting in a clean-tasting broth.
Tasting the perilla Andong guk-su for the first time, Kangnam exclaimed, "It's delicious." Jeon Hyun-moo said, "This is not the Andong guk-su I know. The noodles are somewhat different." The owner explained that the soup noodles contain soybean flour. Kwak Tube added, "The noodles are soft."
