Actress Gong Min-jung released an interview with responses regarding her thoughts on the conclusion of 'Thank You Again' through her agency, Fantagio.
'Thank You Again' (directed by Min Ji-young, written by Jo Yu-jin, Choi Ryong) is a romantic comedy drama set against the backdrop of 'Heaven' and 'Cheonpo New Town,' depicting the turbulent survival story of a simulated married woman 'Ji Song-i,' who finds love and marriage challenging. In the drama, Gong Min-jung passionately portrayed 'Choi Hana,' a 'power type J' working mom who organizes everything in Excel.
Gong Min-jung not only showcased stable acting skills worthy of a trusted actress but also perfectly embodied the role of a working mom who honestly shares 'my' story, not just as someone's wife or mother, providing deep empathy and emotion to viewers.

Q: The drama 'Thank You Again' has concluded. Please share your thoughts on the conclusion.
A: I feel like all the actors and staff worked hard together with one heart. Although it hasn't been long since filming finished, it was a special and precious work for me, to the point where it feels like a dream. It was a journey that aired once a week, not a short one, and I sincerely want to express my gratitude to everyone who watched until the end.
Q: Since it's a KODI and daily life-based drama, did you face any difficulties while acting?
A: I don't think I faced any difficulties while filming. On the contrary, the character was similar to my situation, so I could empathize, and I was able to act comfortably thanks to the consideration from those around me.
Q: In the drama, one character is a mother of twins and a working mom in the New Town who organizes everything in Excel as 'Power J.' The description of the character 'Power Type J Working Mom' is impressive. Was there a specific focus while you were acting?
A: To be honest, I have a 'Power P' propensity, so while portraying 'Hana' this time, I tried to indirectly experience and understand the 'J' propensity and draw out the 'J' within me.
Q: While filming, was there any line or memorable scene that stood out to you?
A: There is a scene in episode 10 where Hana advises an employee who misunderstands and criticizes Ethan's mom as 'mom-chung.' Hana's line is, "But do you know? You never know how things will go in life. Because I thought I would be a gold miss for life. I never thought I would end up raising a baby. Everyone has a baby phase, and anyone can become a parent, and humans inevitably age equally. So let's not be petty about it. Okay?" This scene and line are the most memorable for me.
Q: There were many episodes showing friendships with Jeon So-min and Jang Hae-ryeong in 'Thank You Again.' How was the chemistry with the other actors?
A: I actually became really good friends with Jeon So-min and Jang Hae-ryeong. Since So-min is the same age, I was able to approach her comfortably from the start, and she was a thankful friend who opened her heart to me. I think we were able to film enjoyably together, smiling at each other on set. I naturally became close to Hae-ryeong as we had more scenes together in the middle of the drama. When we met and talked, our interests and ways of communication matched well, making me look forward to the days I went to the filming site. So it felt like I was with real friends during filming. Even now that filming is over, we still keep in touch as friends. 'Thank You Again' is a precious work that allowed me to meet wonderful friends.
Q: What does 'Thank You Again' mean to you, Gong Min-jung?
A: It is a grateful project I shared with thankful people during the most precious time of my life.
Q: Do you have any goals achieved through this project?
A: During the filming of this project, I was pregnant. I believe that if a mother is happy, the baby will also be happy, so my goal was to work happily and give birth healthily. The filming site of 'Thank You Again' was so enjoyable that I believe it was definitely good for prenatal education.
Q: In what way would you like to meet the public in the future?
A: It's difficult to say which genres and characters, but I want to greet you with a character that allows me to see a new side of myself that I haven't met or seen yet.
