Aespa has been named a three-time winner at the Korean Popular Music Awards.
Aespa won the Song of the Year and Best K-pop Song awards for "Supernova" on the 22nd Korean Popular Music Awards held on the 27th, as well as the Best K-pop Album award for their first studio album "Armageddon," marking a total of three wins in different institutional sectors.
Notably, Aespa has proven their unwavering status as a "hitmaker" by clinching another trophy three years after winning Song of the Year and Best K-pop Song for their mega-hit "Next Level" in 2022.
In response, Aespa said in a video, "I want to say thank you for all the love we received for 'Supernova' last year. Especially, 'Armageddon' is a very meaningful album for us as it is our first studio album, so receiving an award for it is even more significant." They added, "We will work hard this year to repay the love from many people, so I ask for your continued support."
Meanwhile, Aespa will continue their second world tour, "2024-25 aespa LIVE TOUR - SYNK : PARALLEL LINE," in London, England, on March 2.
