KBS announcer Kim Jae-won vowed to maintain his position on 'Morning Yard.'

The KBS1 broadcast of 'Morning Yard' on the 28th was themed around 'Couple Party,' with announcer Kim Jae-won and Kim Soo-chan hosting together.

During the opening, Kim Soo-chan said, 'It’s good to meet, even better to watch, and best when we’re together. I believe the viewers who love the 'Couple Party' are those who truly make it worthwhile,' as he conveyed cuteness with a hand heart.

Announcer Kim Jae-won said, 'Thank you for maintaining the position of the cute son. It’s already the end of February. On the first day of March, I can again refocus my mind, but nothing is as important as maintaining my position. Don’t worry. In March, I will maintain my position.'

Earlier, KBS management reportedly instructed producers in the documentary center on the 4th to 'change the host of cultural programs with an MC experience of over five years without exception. Submit replacement plans by tomorrow (Tuesday).'

According to the KBS Producers Association, programs that fall under this criterion include 'Morning Yard,' '6 O'Clock Hometown,' and 'TV Show Genuine Goods.' The KBS Producers Association stated, 'Changing the MC of a program is a significant matter that can greatly affect the program's competitiveness. However, the programs mentioned for MC change have not experienced any issues with their competitiveness recently. In fact, the ratings are on the rise and are overwhelming other broadcasts at the same time. Under such circumstances, it is difficult to find a reason for an unexpected MC change, no matter how much we think about it,' conveying that they have no intention of replacing the current MC.

'Genuine Goods' announcer Kang Seung-hwa also shared his stance on this matter. During a press conference on the 30th anniversary of 'Genuine Goods' on the 27th, he said, 'I think a host can be changed whenever necessary for restructuring, but logically, it doesn’t make sense to say it should be replaced just because it has been too long.'
