A sudden crack has emerged in the thriving daily lives of Ji Jin-hee and Lee Kyu-hyung.
The 8th episode of the KBS2 Wednesday-Thursday drama 'Kikikikik' (written by Jeong Su-hyeon, Nam Eun-kyung, Jeong Hae-young, directed by Ko Seung-jun), broadcast on the 27th, depicted the story of the staff of Kikikikik Company, who faced a significant turning point due to the return of an actress that shook Ji Jin-hee (Ji Jin-hee) and Jo Young-sik (Lee Kyu-hyung), along with the activities of those opposed to and in favor of office romance.
Jo Young-sik formed a White Swan Search Team with Baek Ji-won (Baek Ji-won) to find two men and women who failed to enter the camper. Claiming that there could be no office romance until they reach 3 million subscribers, Jo Young-sik and Baek Ji-won monitored the every move of the staff, and upon learning of this, Wang Jo-yeon (Jeon Hye-yeon) awkwardly expressed that she was not on good terms with Kang Tae-ho (Kim Eun-ho) in front of the White Swan Search Team. However, Wang Jo-yeon and Kang Tae-ho exchanged words that were not sincere, and their emotions grew heated, putting them in a situation where their partnership might end as they tried to evade the watchful eyes of the White Swan Search Team.
The feelings between Wang Jo-yeon and Kang Tae-ho encountered another turning point due to the disappearance of Wang Jo-yeon's dog, Kick. Kang Tae-ho supported the heartbroken Wang Jo-yeon as he searched for Kick, providing her with clothes and shoes to ensure she wouldn't get hurt or cold, quietly but strongly shaking her heart. Thus, while the two may often bicker childishly, the time they have spent together has forged a solid bond of trust, drawing attention to the unpredictable nature of Wang Jo-yeon and Kang Tae-ho's relationship.
In favor of office romance, No In-seong (Jeong Han-seol) noticed that Lee Min-jae (Lee Min-jae) and Lee Mark (Baek Seon-ho) both liked Ga Ju-ha (Jeon So-young). Taking on the role of Cupid, No In-seong supported Lee Mark in his pursuit of Ga Ju-ha, even lending him a camper. Encouraged by this support, Lee Mark confessed his feelings to Ga Ju-ha, who sensed his sincerity but politely turned him down as they always engaged in their usual role-playing scenarios. Lee Mark respected Ga Ju-ha's feelings instead of pressuring her, but he could not hide his bitterness, leaving both young people caught between love and friendship with a sense of regret.
While emotions swirl among the employees of Kikikikik Company, a massive storm has approached co-representatives Ji Jin-hee and Jo Young-sik. The reason for their rift is the unexpected return of Yeou-ran (Gi Eun-se), who has requested the production of content for her comeback along with her divorce news. Ji Jin-hee and Jo Young-sik could not hide their confusion, especially as Jo Young-sik was in a panic, with emotions still raw to the point of appearing in his dreams. When Yeou-ran treated Jo Young-sik playfully, Ji Jin-hee, unable to bear it, stormed out with Jo Young-sik. However, the aftermath of the storm that swept through them was immense. Yet the two decided to bury the past rather than openly resolve their misunderstandings, according to Jo Young-sik's wishes.
Above all, curiosity is growing about the impact of Yeou-ran's return on the two men. Ji Jin-hee and Jo Young-sik have a significant mission to achieve 3 million subscribers, and time is running short for accomplishing that mission. Furthermore, as past grievances are gradually being resolved, attention is focused on whether they will not repeat the past as they move forward together toward completing their mission.
KBS2's Wednesday-Thursday drama 'Kikikikik' is broadcast every Wednesday and Thursday night at 10:50 p.m.
