Blackpink has announced its 2025 world tour and has started to gradually expand the scale of performances in North America and Europe.
According to YG Entertainment on the 28th, Blackpink has confirmed a total of five additional performances for the 'BLACKPINK 2025 WORLD TOUR' on July 13 in Los Angeles, July 23 in Toronto, July 27 in New York, August 3 in Paris, and August 16 in London.
This means Blackpink will meet fans in a total of 10 cities across 18 performances through the 2025 world tour. Previously, they announced tour dates starting with the main stadium in Goyang on July 5 and 6, followed by July 12 in Los Angeles, July 18 in Chicago, July 22 in Toronto, July 26 in New York, August 2 in Paris, August 6 in Milan, August 9 in Barcelona, August 15 in London, and continuing in Tokyo on January 16, 17, and 18 next year.
Including the newly added schedule, all venues are noted to be stadium-level capacities that can accommodate tens of thousands. Considering it has been about 1 year and 5 months since their tour that attracted approximately 1.8 million audiences and set a new record for K-pop girl groups, one can truly feel their unchanging powerful global influence and popularity.
Notably, entering Wembley in London, known as the 'dream stage' in the home of pop, is a first for Blackpink among K-pop female artists, and the solo performance at the main stadium in Goyang, which will signal the start of the tour, is also a first for K-pop girl groups. Attention is focused on the new history they will create as they stand shoulder to shoulder with world-class musicians once again.
YG noted, "Since the first announcement of the world tour, we have received numerous inquiries from fans, so we are delivering the additional performance schedule earlier than planned," and added, "As many fans from various countries have already shown great support, we ask for your interest in the new news we will share to repay this support."
