Fashion beauty entrepreneur Kim Jun-hee shared an episode where she felt good despite malicious comments.
On the 28th, Kim posted a video titled "Do not ever do this! Three bad habits of people with poor skin! Cleansing methods to prevent skin aging for 50-year-old Jun-hee, foam cleanser recommendations" on her YouTube channel 'What to eat today.'
In the video, Kim flaunted her transparent and resilient skin, making it hard to believe she is 50 years old. She opened up, saying, "Recently, someone seemed to want to write a somewhat malicious comment to me. They wrote, 'Oh? Your face seems a bit thick, doesn't it?'"
She continued, "However, for someone, that might be a malicious comment, but I felt so good about it. Saying that my face is thick means that my skin looks thick, and looking thick means that my skin is healthy. As one ages, the skin layers become thinner, which leads to sagging and thinning, so being called thick is indeed a great compliment."
Meanwhile, Kim announced a new beginning after organizing her long-running enterprise in January.
At that time, she mentioned her clothing brand on social media, saying, "I've been doing my best since 2019 to introduce high-quality products at good prices by improving the quality with better fabrics and sewing while reducing margins. With the continuing high prices, while the cost of fabrics and labor keeps rising, it has not been easy to maintain the pricing policy of Above (brand) by continuously reducing margins."
She added, "However, thanks to the long-time customers who understand this reality and support me, I tried my best to endure, but due to persistent harassment from some selfish and rude individuals online, my physical and mental health has seriously deteriorated, leading me to let go of the brands Eva Junie and Above, which I have operated for 20 years."
However, she also said, "I will now splendidly prepare my new high-end fashion brand as a fashion designer and director!" drawing much support.
Earlier, Kim vowed to take better care of and love herself, saying, "I realized that I had been too focused forward, buried in work for 365 days a year, and almost let everything go due to severe burnout. Seeing my precarious appearance made me feel sorry. I want to enjoy work now, take breaks, travel, and have genuine dates without work with my husband, living an ordinary life where I work on weekdays and rest on weekends, like everyone else. I would like to convey my courage in letting go to those who, like me, are struggling with burnout. There are things that can only be seen when you let go. I have decided to focus a little more on myself and love myself more. I will also support everyone's remarkable future." She expressed her thoughts on 'letting go' and maintaining a positive mindset.
Meanwhile, Kim debuted in 1994 as part of the co-ed group Muro and is currently active as a vibrant entrepreneur. Notably, her online shopping mall reportedly achieved annual sales of 10 billion won. Kim married a non-celebrity man who is five years younger in 2020 and is currently operating an enterprise with her husband.
