According to YG Entertainment on the 27th, BabyMonster's 'DRIP' music video surpassed 200 million views on YouTube around 3:13 p.m. on that day. This is approximately 118 days after its release on Nov. 1 at 1 p.m. last year.
The music video immediately ranked first as the 'most viewed video within 24 hours' and maintained its presence on the global YouTube daily chart for 19 consecutive days. It quickly surpassed 100 million views on the 21st, signaling an exceptional popularity surge.
With this, BabyMonster now holds three 200 million view videos among a total of eight YouTube contents with over 100 million views. Previously, 'SHEESH' (300 million) and the music video for 'BATTER UP' (300 million), which broke the shortest record for a K-pop girl group debut song, achieved the same view count. It's a moment to realize once again their solid presence as the next-generation 'YouTube queen'.
