Receiving acclaim from both domestic and international media and fans, 'Mickey 17' will hold a GV (guest visit) event on March 8 (Saturday) and March 9 (Sunday).
The film 'Mickey 17,' featuring an unpredictable story where 'Mickey,' a disposable expendable involved in dangerous tasks, faces the crisis of his 17th death while 'Mickey 18' is printed thinking he has died, will hold relay GVs at Megabox COEX on March 8 (Saturday) and Lotte Cinema World Tower on March 9 (Sunday).
On March 8 (Saturday) at 1:30 p.m., the first GV for 'Mickey 17' will take place at Megabox COEX. The GV will be hosted by film journalist Lee Eun-sun in a solo event with Director Bong Joon-ho, allowing the audience to listen to a deep discussion about the film, which is expected to be a gift-like experience for them. In particular, Director Bong Joon-ho and film journalist Lee Eun-sun will provide interesting insights on the beginning of 'Mickey 17,' the scriptwriting, the production process, and the audience's reactions after its release. Reservations for this GV will open today, February 27 (Thursday).
Then, on March 9 (Sunday) at 2 p.m., a second GV will be held at Lotte Cinema World Tower, featuring Director Bong Joon-ho and music director Jeong Jae-il alongside music critic Bae Soon-tak. Jeong Jae-il, who has worked with Director Bong since 'Okja' through 'Parasite' and 'Mickey 17,' left a signature in global consciousness with the music for Netflix's series 'Squid Game' following 'Parasite.' Their discussion will promise an interesting conversation about their long collaboration methods and the unique musical world of 'Mickey 17.' The GV, with a theme focused particularly on music, will be hosted by music critic Bae Soon-tak, expecting to lead to a deeper conversation. Reservations for the GV featuring Director Bong Joon-ho and Music Director Jeong Jae-il with Music Critic Bae Soon-tak will open on February 28 (Friday).
