JYP Entertainment's girl group NiziU has announced news of a new tour, which is "the largest scale" they have ever held, following the end of their first winter tour.
NiziU held a solo performance on Feb. 22-23 at the Fukuoka Convention Center, marking the finale of "NiziU Live with U 2024-2025 "AWAKE". As NiziU's first winter tour, it started last November in Fukui and expanded to a total of 18 shows in eight regions, including Hokkaido, Hyogo, Tokyo, Osaka, Miyagi, Aichi, and Fukuoka, drawing over 155,000 spectators and showcasing NiziU's incredible popularity.
The Fukuoka venue that closed the tour was where NiziU held their first tour, "NiziU Live with U 2022 "Light it Up".", creating meaningful memories and enhancing fan satisfaction. NiziU presented a total of 24 songs, including the title track "YOAKE" from their first mini album "AWAKE", as well as the included tracks "CRUSH" and "Made of Love". The two-day performance in Fukuoka was live-streamed in theaters across 47 regions in Japan, and the performance on the 22nd was also broadcast online through local streaming platforms.
At the end of the performance, NiziU excited fans by announcing the new tour "NiziU Live with U 2025" starting this September and the follow-up "NiziU Live with U 2026" planned for next year. The "NiziU Live with U 2025" tour, kicking off in the second half of the year, will take place in 21 regions across Japan, including Aomori, Iwate, and Miyagi, making it their largest scale ever. In 2026, performances have been confirmed in Hokkaido, Tokyo, Aichi, Osaka, and Fukuoka, heightening anticipation for NiziU's activities leading into the next year.
