Actress Lee Sun-bin was impressed by her connection with Lee Kwang-soo, with whom she is in a public relationship, through 'potatoes.'
On the afternoon of the 27th, the production presentation for the new tvN Saturday-Sunday drama 'Potato Laboratory' was held at the Ramada Hotel in Sindorim, Guro District, Seoul. The presentation was attended by director Kang Il-soo, actress Lee Sun-bin, Kang Tae-oh, Lee Hak-joo, Kim Ga-eun, and Shin Hyun-seung.
'Potato Laboratory' is a healing romantic comedy about a potato research institute that laughs and cries over potatoes, and the arrival of the cold principled Baek-ho (played by Kang Tae-oh) in the life of Mi-gyeong (played by Lee Sun-bin), whose life revolves around potatoes.
Coincidentally, Lee Kwang-soo, who is in a public relationship with Lee Sun-bin, recently showcased a potato dish on the tvN entertainment show 'Kong Kong Bap Bap.' In relation to this connection, Lee Sun-bin noted, "We always support each other. I was also curious at first. Especially, among many root crops, it was surprising to overlap with potatoes."
He mentioned, "I thought this might be related to my personal feelings, but does tvN have some kind of resentment toward potatoes? I was thinking along those lines. There seems to be some kind of resentment or connection. I think we have talked about how it's surprising to work with the same potato material in that regard." He added, "I think there’s something with potatoes that could lead to a big hit for tvN this time."
Meanwhile, 'Potato Laboratory' will premiere on March 1 at 9:20 p.m.
