Princess Go Ah-ra embarks on a mission to rescue her mentor Bae Yoon-kyu.
In the TVING original series 'Chunhwa Romance' (written by Seo Eun-jung, directed by Lee Kwang-young, produced by Beyond J, SLL, provided by TVING), Princess Hwa-ri (played by Go Ah-ra) is expected to make every effort to clear the name of her mentor Kim Min-hong (played by Bae Yoon-kyu), who has been mistakenly taken as the original author of 'Chunhwa Romance.'
'Chunhwa Romance,' which boldly depicts the intimate inner workings of the palace that no one knows, has gained a reputation as a sensational work that causes a stir in the capital every time it is released. However, the content of the work, which deals with fatal issues that tarnish the honor of the royal family, has ultimately reached a point where it threatens to go beyond the palace walls.
Especially after the publication of 'Chunhwa Romance,' which pointed out the inappropriate conduct of Prince Hwa-ing (played by Ko Geon-han), Sook-bin (played by Park Sol-mi) and her father, Prime Minister Kim Byeong-gil (played by Choi Kwang-il), became increasingly anxious. This was a dangerous matter since the king (played by Choi Won-sang) might attempt to verify the truth of the content, which could lead to devastation for them. Therefore, they set out to resolve the situation by capturing the original author first.
However, the author of 'Chunhwa Romance' remains shrouded in mystery, as Choi Hwan (played by Jang Ryul), who distributes the book, has never actually met this unknown figure, placing him in a dilemma. In order to find this person, Prince Hwa-ing, with his eyes ablaze, discovered consistent parts between 'Chunhwa Romance' and Kim Min-hong's drawings, mistakenly identified him as the original author, and secretly took him home.
The real author of 'Chunhwa Romance,' Hwa-ri, held onto Kim Min-hong, anxiously asking if he wasn't the original author, but he, instead of denying it, let go of her hand and followed Prince Hwa-ing willingly. This situation has made Kim Min-hong's future perilous due to the work written by Hwa-ri.
Thus, Hwa-ri is expected to struggle to rescue the unjustly accused Kim Min-hong in place of the true author. Additionally, Choi Hwan joins in on this mission at Hwa-ri's request, offering a clever idea. Curiosity is growing about what results will emerge from the collaboration of the two, who aim to dispel public suspicion at once and ensure Kim Min-hong's safe release.
