The details have emerged about the murderer who brutally killed a young boy.
On the 28th (Friday) at 9:50 p.m., "Brave Detectives 4" (directed by Lee Ji-sun) will air on TAE KWANG CORPORATION's media affiliate T-Cast E Channel, featuring former Commissioner Yoon Weichul and Chief Kim Jin-soo from the National Forensic Science Agency (KCSI) as they delve into the case that began in a peach orchard in Cheongdo.
An elderly man walking early in the morning discovered a small charred body in the peach orchard. The clothes worn at the time of death were burned and stuck to the skin, and the entire body was singed.
Additionally, the shape of the leg bindings was unusual, resembling a form where the knees and calves were pulled together and bound with blue tape. Professor Kwon Il-yong noted, "It is highly likely that the bindings were not intended to restrict movement. I suspect that the bindings were made to reduce the volume of the body for easier transportation."
Tragically, the cause of death of the young boy was blunt force asphyxiation. The victim, whose height was estimated to be between 140-150 cm and feet size 200 mm, was presumed to be either a late elementary school student or a middle school student.
Fingerprints were taken from the burned fingers, but identity verification was impossible due to the victim being a minor. The investigation team distributed flyers in the nearby region of Daegu using computer graphics to reconstruct the face, but they were unable to obtain any information about the victim.
The investigation team sent official documents to over a hundred elementary and middle schools in Cheongdo and nearby areas to uncover the victim's identity. Finally, after a month of investigation, they were able to identify the deceased child, accelerating the investigation.
