On the 27th (Thursday), the MBC program 'Save Me! Homes' (directed by Jeong Da-hee, Kim Moon-seop, So In-ji, Heo Ja-yoon, Kim Wan-cheol; hereinafter referred to as 'Homes') will present a special feature on college students' living arrangements, focusing on Seoul National University.
The broadcast will explore the mecca for living spaces in the new semester, Gwanak-gu. In this exploration, actors Kim Shin-rok, Yang Se-hyung, and Yang Se-chan, all graduates of Seoul National University, will head out to the nation's top prestigious university, Seoul National University, where the spirit of Gwanak Mountain flows.
Yang Se-chan introduces that Gwanak-gu, where the most college students reside, also ranks first in terms of youth ratio. While traveling by car to tour the large campus of Seoul National University, Kim Shin-rok humorously admits to having a poor sense of direction in reality when asked to introduce the campus. In response, Yang Se-hyung points out, "Weren't you a geography major?"
A current student met outside the Seoul National University café recognizes Kim Shin-rok and greets her warmly. The student, introducing as a junior in the geography department, says, "Kim Shin-rok is the best output from our department." Yang Se-chan asks the student if she scored high on the college entrance examination and if she was first in her class in middle and high school. In response, Kim Shin-rok explains, "There's a saying about the three types of fools at Seoul National University: 'students who brag about being first in their high school,' 'students walking from the entrance station of Seoul National University,' and 'students attending the Seoul National University festival.'"
The three then embark on a tour of the dormitories at Seoul National University. Kim Shin-rok reveals, "After entering as a freshman, I lived in the dorm for one semester. Due to underperformance, I started living off-campus in Nokdu-gil from the next semester," which elicits laughter.
Upon arriving at the dormitory, the three cannot take their eyes off its appearance, which looks just like any other APT. Kim Shin-rok introduces, "This is the newly constructed dormitory building. Besides this, there's a villa-type family living quarters where married graduate students of Seoul National University can live with their families."
The three recruit several students they meet on-site as 'current student KODIs' and reveal the interior of the dormitory. It is reported that all the studio's KODIs were surprised by the various amenities and tidy interior.
The special feature on college students' living arrangements will be revealed on the 27th at 10 p.m. on MBC's 'Save Me! Homes.'
