Singer G-DRAGON is heating up the domestic and international music scene with his regular album 'Übermensch' released after 11 years and 5 months.

G-DRAGON's third regular album 'Übermensch', released on the afternoon of 25th, is shaking up major domestic music sites immediately upon release. The title track 'TOO BAD (feat. Anderson .Paak)' soared to No. 1 on the real-time music charts on Melon, Genie, Bugs, and Vibe, and it also ranked No. 1 on the Melon and Bugs daily charts (as of February 25) less than a day after its release.

In addition, the album tracks such as 'HOME SWEET HOME', 'PO₩ER', 'DRAMA', 'IBELONGIIU', 'TAKE ME', 'BONAMANA', and 'GYRO-DROP' have also secured spots in the upper ranks of the daily charts as well as the real-time charts. 'HOME SWEET HOME' ranked 3rd, 'DRAMA' 6th, 'TAKE ME' 9th, 'IBELONGIIU' 12th, 'PO₩ER' 15th, 'BONAMANA' 16th, and 'GYRO-DROP' 18th on the Melon daily chart, successfully placing all tracks within the top 20. This indicates G-DRAGON's undeniable comeback as a K-POP legend, breaking into Melon's upper charts in just one day.

The music video also saw remarkable views, with 'TOO BAD' exceeding 5.5 million views and 'DRAMA' surpassing 3.7 million views within a day, ranking 1st and 2nd in YouTube's trending videos.

Such a hot response is also seen overseas. G-DRAGON's third regular album 'Übermensch' ranked 1st on the iTunes Worldwide Album Chart and 7th on the Worldwide Apple Music Album Chart as of the release date, February 25. On the U.S. YouTube trending video rankings, 'TOO BAD' reached 2nd and 'DRAMA' climbed to 3rd, marking the start of another global phenomenon.

In addition, on the Hanteo Chart, which tracks K-POP album sales, it recorded over 620,000 copies sold on the first day, taking the No. 1 spot on the daily album chart.

'Übermensch' includes the title track 'TOO BAD,' which features a groovy drum beat and an addictive hook, the emotionally resonant 'DRAMA,' the pre-released track 'PO₩ER,' and 'HOME SWEET HOME,' along with eight other tracks that each showcase different moods, enhancing the listening experience.

'IBELONGIIU,' in collaboration with Boys Noize, a DJ and producer from Hamburg, captures an exhilarating emotion with G-DRAGON's distinctive powerful vocals over a trendy sound. 'BONAMANA' enhances immersion with G-DRAGON's delicate and dreamy vocals layered over guitar sounds. Along with that, 'GYRO-DROP,' featuring G-DRAGON's witty lyrics, is equipped with a singable melody line that makes listeners hum along with the sensory beats.

Meanwhile, 'TAKE ME' stands out with a guitar solo from renowned guitarist Nile Rodgers over a track by Boys Noize, evoking excitement with G-DRAGON's sweet confession of 'I give myself to you.'

In particular, Nile Rodgers, who won his first general field award at the 2014 Grammy Awards and achieved three Grammy awards that year, continues to be recognized as a global guitarist, participating in Beyoncé's album in 2023, earning two Grammy awards and a lifetime achievement award. His guitar performance greatly enriches the atmosphere of the song, garnering praise from listeners.

On the other hand, G-DRAGON will showcase the stage for the title track 'TOO BAD (feat. Anderson .Paak)' from his third regular album 'Übermensch,' focusing on his artistry without reservations, for the first time on Mnet's 'M Countdown' on the 27th (Thursday).
