(Following interview 1) Next-generation solo artist Kyubin, succeeding IU, has made a comeback with her exciting first mini album "Flowering" and shared her thoughts on being active in a glamorous idol comeback lineup.

On the 26th, Kyubin is releasing her first mini album "Flowering" since her debut, officially starting her activities, while the day before, she conducted a comeback commemorative interview at the OSEN headquarters located in Hapjeong-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul, sharing the process of preparing for this album and her expectations for her activities.

On this day, Kyubin expressed her feelings ahead of the comeback, saying, "I am excited and feel pleasantly nervous. I feel happiness, but I also feel tension wondering if people will like it. After the release, when I hear the songs on music sites, and since the album is coming out this time, thinking that people will actually purchase it, I think that feeling will be different again." She added, "This is the first time I am having a fan signing event, and it's one of the things I am really looking forward to. I think it will be the most nerve-wracking thing."

In particular, regarding the fan signing event, Kyubin said, "Right now, it’s hard to believe it’s happening, and even signing, I think, ‘Am I really signing in this album?’ I feel happy, feeling like a young child who is pure and joyfully happy for no special reason. I think it’s a fortune that I can feel this way, and it feels like my nickname of ‘Lucky Girl’ is being proven true."

Additionally, Kyubin proudly shared that this album will include "guitar picks" for the first time. Unlike the songs that were previously released in digital single formats, this album has been released as a physical album, and a guitar pick has been added as a unique point. When asked whose idea it was, Kyubin laughed, saying, "I thought it was my own idea. But the company had already formalized it."

While preparing for this album, Kyubin said, "I was worried about whether I could get it done in time. It was surprisingly smooth as our hands and feet matched perfectly. There were slight differences in opinion, but there was a process of resolving conflicts to create the final product. Overall, I don't think there were any major hiccups."

Moreover, Kyubin expressed, "This time, I wanted to become a singer-songwriter, so I had a stubbornness of thinking, ‘I have to do this much,’ and there were things I wanted to show. The company, at first, did trust me and arranged the sessions, but before the sessions started, I received hundreds of demo songs. To get my song picked among all the songs, I felt I needed to show better abilities, so I worked hard day and night with that stubbornness. That’s why I think I felt a sense of achievement and pride."

During Kyubin's comeback period, the comebacks of dazzling idol singers, including the new SM girl group Hearts2Hearts, IVE's direct junior Kiki, G-Dragon, Zero Base One, and ONF are anticipated. When asked whether this impressive comeback lineup feels burdensome, Kyubin smiled and confided, "At first, I wondered if I would be able to appear on music shows."

Fortunately, Kyubin said, "This week, I will be able to appear on all music shows, and if I think positively, since seniors like G-Dragon will be there, I think the ratings will go up. There will be many people who will be seeing me for the first time, and I don’t think it’s something to worry about as it’s an opportunity to make an impression." He added, "When else would I get a chance to see G-Dragon? I think it will be exciting to see someone I have respected since I was young up close, so I feel the energy will be overflowing both on and off the stage."

When asked if there are any artists he would like to challenge with during this comeback, he laughed and said, "Senior G-Dragon, is that possible?" and added, "Also, Zero Base One's Kyubin, my younger brother is a fan. But he has the same name as me. If we get to challenge each other, I think people will enjoy watching us together."

Finally, when asked what goal he wishes to achieve through this album, Kyubin revealed, "This year, I want to be seen as an entertainer, not just as a musician Kyubin. I want to try more variety shows and photoshoots. Recently, I have been into food, and I want to appear on shows like "Please Take Care of My Refrigerator" or "Delicious Guys." I always have an open mind, so I don’t think of things as, ‘I can’t do that.’ I want to take on challenges."

On the other hand, regarding specific goals for the album, he mentioned, "Actually, I want to chart well and aim for the top position. I want to gain recognition among teens in Korea and win their hearts. Since it's about resonating with my intent, I want to use this album to introduce myself to the public in Korea. I will also work hard on overseas promotions, and I think I will be doing my utmost."

Meanwhile, Kyubin's first mini album "Flowering," capturing her new musical journey, was released today (26th) at noon on various online music sites and offline.
