Actor Park Bo-gum, who loves music, will lead the new season of KBS late-night music talk show "The Seasons."

"The Seasons" is the first KBS late-night music program to introduce a seasonal format, starting in February 2023 with "Jay Park's Drive," followed by "Choi Jeong-hoon's Night Park," "AKMU's Onal O Bam," "Lee Hyori's Red Carpet," "Zico's Artist," and "Lee Young-ji's Rainbow." MCs with different genres and colors have served as a bridge between musicians and viewers.

"The Seasons," which has drawn attention with unpredictable yet fresh MC selection each season, has revealed that the protagonist of the 7th season is actor Park Bo-gum, the first-ever actor in the history of the show. Amidst numerous speculations from fans, the title decided is "Park Bo-gum's Cantabile." This was directly suggested by the enthusiastic Park Bo-gum, and it is a musical term meaning "cantabile: in a singing manner." This title is also connected to the KBS2 music drama "Tomorrow Cantabile," in which he starred 11 years ago.

Since his debut in the movie "Blind" in 2011, actor Park Bo-gum has shown consistent love for music through acting, participating in OSTs, releasing music, and performing in musicals. Furthermore, he has maintained a connection with KBS late-night music programs, showcasing his excellent singing skills and piano performances in programs like "Yoo Hee-yeol's Sketchbook" and "The Seasons - Zico's Artist." Reports have emerged that he also impressed with his piano and dance skills in the teaser video released earlier.

Although Park Bo-gum has already proven his excellent hosting skills as an MC for "Music Bank" and as a host for the "Baeksang Arts Awards" and "MAMA," this will be his first time as an MC for a regular music program. As previously reported, Park Bo-gum, who dreamed of becoming a singer since childhood, is reportedly preparing for his first recording with exceptional passion and expectations, having expressed respect for musicians for a long time.

There is already much interest in how Park Bo-gum will take over the baton from the previous MC, Lee Young-ji, who ended the last episode of "Lee Young-ji's Rainbow" with uncontrollable tears.

Announcing a new beginning, "The Seasons - Park Bo-gum's Cantabile" will premiere on KBS 2TV at 10 p.m. on March 14, White Day.
