The movie “3 Days” has confirmed its exclusive release at CGV in March and has unveiled its official trailer.
“3 Days” (screenplay and direction by Kim Soon-soo, investment provided by Daemyung Sono Group and Daemyung Station Co., Ltd., distributed by CJ CGV Co., Ltd.) is a family drama that tells the story of ‘Tae-ha’ (Yoo Seung-ho), who holds a three-day funeral for his late mother (Seo Jeong-yeon), and ‘Hajin’ (Kim Dong-wook), a funeral director leading a special funeral.
The released trailer begins with the poignant gaze of ‘Tae-ha,’ filled with the grief of having lost his mother, and a mysterious note left in his mother’s will, signaling an impressive start. He learns the surprising fact that his mother had been preparing her own funeral since a year ago through ‘Hajin,’ who appears after receiving a call from Tae-ha, and the trailer shows how the characters delve into the secrets hidden within the funeral, sparking the audience's curiosity.
In particular, the scene of the mother standing in front of the camera with a subtle expression, followed by ‘Hajin’s’ significant line, “Let’s begin the funeral your mother wanted,” heightens expectations for the story to unfold.
With a running time of 27 minutes and a ticket price of 1,000 won, this film is attracting attention as a new source of vitality in theaters and could become another success story in the realm of short content, also known as “snack movies.”
Meanwhile, the short film “3 Days” is scheduled to have its exclusive release at CGV in March, meeting audiences.
