The 'good deed manufacturer' Kang Ha-neul has added another good deed.
On the morning of the 26th, a production report for the movie 'Streaming' was held at Lotte Cinema in Kondae. Principal cast member Kang Ha-neul and director Jo Jang-ho attended the event.
Kang Ha-neul, a universally liked actor who freely crosses genres and characters in movies like '30 Days', 'Youth Police', 'Dongju' and the drama 'When the Camellia Blooms', as well as Netflix's 'Squid Game' season 2, unveils an unprecedented look in 'Streaming'. Expectations are high for his transformation, which includes intense tattoos and a manic appearance.
Director Jo Jang-ho noted a moment of admiration for Kang Ha-neul: "I was impressed by how he memorized his lines. There are really a lot of lines, and they are not simple. The amount of lines is quite large, and they changed depending on the filming set. He cut out and infused lines according to the situation, and he did it surprisingly well," he said, adding, "He is one of the three smartest people I have met in my life."
MC Park Kyung-rim asked, "Usually, he's said to be the smartest person, isn't that so?" and Kang Ha-neul responded, "We shouldn't have fake news," which drew laughter.
When asked by the director about adding 'good deeds', he said, "Our Deputy Minister of makeup said he was happy. Normally, when he works with other actors on different sets, he gets nervous and can't eat well, but with actor Kang Ha-neul, he said it was fine to just be casual. He is that good of an actor. He approaches the staff on set in a friendly manner," and stated, "Kang Ha-neul gets along well but heads straight to his room after filming. Then, late at night, he texts saying, 'It would be good to do this scene like this tomorrow.' He is really diligent. It's not just talk; his actual life is refined. I was quite surprised considering his young age."
On that day, when Park Kyung-rim asked, "What do you think about the spreading of your good deeds? Do you wish for them to spread more?" Kang Ha-neul replied, "I appreciate it. (Spreading more?) No. (laughs) I think I should live more properly."
Meanwhile, 'Streaming' (script and directed by Jo Jang-ho, provided and distributed by Lotte Entertainment, produced by Very Good Studio, co-produced by TH Story) is a thriller where streamer Woo Sang (played by Kang Ha-neul), who has the number one subscriber count in the crime category, discovers clues about an unsolved serial murder case and broadcasts the process of tracking the suspect in real-time. It is set to be released on March 21.
